My problem is, after reading this forum, I want to play d2-lod again lol :shock:
buuuut, when I load it up etc etc, it plays horribly. sure my loading times etc are great, but its constanly jerking // stuttering (don't know how else to put it) .. wondering if this has happened to you? got a fix maybe?
and I know this is kinda weird place to ask, but I have tried everything.. even calling the blizz help line (they put me on hold for a while.. and charged me $45 for the call lol) searched around.. couldn't get any help.. oh well.

Not just for people living in Australia but all people who do not live in America should be able to get a good ping on diablo 3. A few of my friends and i are from Australia (im from Perth) and i have cable internet but still get like a 350 ping when play d2 with nothing else running O_o. i hope that d3 will be better for us that play from different countries.

They had .. I think 1 or 2 servers for Australians a while ago, but back then we have a REAAAALLLLY small player base.. so they where removed
I personally don't see them being reinstated. I mean, we pay a monthly fee for WoW , yet they still refuse to give us a server of our own .. *sigh* its worse.. pings of 600-900ms lol.
World of Warcraft (IMO) is not a very good game, to many balancing issues.. PvP in it is so .. easy, I can do it while semi-afk *sigh* + all the server issues.. gah, to many.. don't get me started

Diablo/Warcraft/Starcraft.
These are what made blizzard. it'll be out.. I just hate waiting.. or worse, I might become to old to get around to playing them! *sobsob*
It wasn't only just Diablo that made Blizzard big. It was there other quality games. Anyone remember Warcraft 1 and the crappy graphics? It was still a fun, challenging game to play. Though Diablo was a huge seller, I'm jsut saying that it wasn't Diablo that made Blizzard famous.
I would personally like a Starcraft+ out before a Diablo+
but either way.. Starcraft:ghost looked a bit dodgy
its horrible waiting, well, its been 5 years since Diablo 2 came out.. lets hope we see something 'officially' from Blizzard soon. (im talking release dates lol)

I dont really know about the idea of having a male and female of each character type,, i mean male amazons for example dont exist,unless they bring in elfs which would kill the game .
and can u imagine a female barbarian,, i mean wtf females in barbarian tribes make babies , cook and clean... so that would be a no. Err female necro is a mabye although i cant really imagine it..

Diablo 2, wasn't charsi a barbarian? .. who then became a blacksmith? granted.. its no the heroic role, but its more then "make babies, cook and clean"
I do think they should have some sort of male/female characters (i.e Female Barbarians) only because, it got annoying playing male characters
but, IMO they should make them equal, to many arguments on which gender is superior at.. whatever - It's a game, I really don't care for the feminists // anti-feminism

We wouldn't really advance anywhere now would we? .. and what they "have" has been used by every other man and his dog by now (albeit poorly..) times change, so should the game.. I wouldn't pay $50-100 for a remake.
