It most probably has to do with the Battle.net updates they where talking about. -

Obviously I wasn't a big fan of the first SC. I did like the storyline and the CG. And it was fun for a little while.
I'm not saying SC2 is gonna suck. I'm saying it's gonna suck for me. FOR ME.
And I was explaining why it would suck for me. Instead of just posting 'It sucks and they should never of announced it'. I'm actually glad Blizzard announced a game that can pay for the frickin' awesomness of D3.

So what is a few more units? (to me) It won't change the gameplay. Just the strategies you used in SC will now have change to include Phase Prisms and Warpgates.

I also tend to break games down to what I consider is their basic form. SC is chess. Diablo is rolling dice to see who hits who for what amount of damage. Chess requires more skill, but less character involvement. Rolling dice requires more filling in with your imagination.
But like I said. This isn't my kind of game. -

Another concern is will it just be the same game and units, just in better graphics? I'm sure they'll do something decent with the storyline. But I dunno...
I have hopes for a good game that I'll like but I have this feeling that, like a book, I'll buy it, beat it, and then set it down...
I am excited for all you SC2 people though. At least you got what you wanted. -

I meant the two ads beneath the news on the front page (I just noticed them, I don't truly know how long they've been there) look very similar, and are in a similar place, to BlizzPlanet's ads... Not that it's bad... It does support my whole d3.com is going over to BlizzPlanets domain though.

Not really. Blizzard seems to be pretty future-minded (these days) so it would make since that they had someone working on an 'April Fools Joke' 5 months ago...
Now what would be interesting to know is whether each joke was put on by it's own team. i.e. The StarCraft team making the Tauren Marine, the WoW team doing the WoW... the DIABLO TEAM doing the Pinata... Maybe they where sooo busy developing D3 they didn't have the time the other teams had to put on a more in-depth April Fools?

I watched (and liked) Mr. Rogers too but... That was pretty boring. His slow speech is great for little kids, however; I bet they passed it just so he would stop talking.
BTW use that same trick (slow talking) on annoying people (policemen, reporters, annoying customers) and it'll be the sweetest revenge ever!

Ooo... A RTS/FPS would be awesome! Being to play the individual character to, say, level them up. Even in the middle of a battle , to be able to zoom in and take direct control over a unit. Alot of different ways you could go with this...
This makes me wonder at what all could be done with the next Diablo...:confused:
