Depending on the original post, I'd have to say it's not Starcraft 2 (I don't care much about Starcraft or #2, if it comes out, great! If it doesn't, oh well)
I hope for Diablo III, but, depending on the circumstances, I'd think it'd be something with WoW or a new Blizzard product. Even though I would LOVE for it to be Diablo III and if asked would scream "GOD YES!" It just doesn't seem plausible. It's always "one more week" isn't it? Hahahaha.
If we don't see the beta Tuesday or Wednesday, it won't be this week (most likely). Then we're in the final week of September. So then Blizzard basically has to release it.
Don't expect anything today/Monday. Another wave and probably the last of F&F Beta invites went out to help test the new Gold AH. They probably are grinding away at the most obvious bugs and are about to open the door to the closed beta. The newest wave has had a couple-few days to play around with stuff. So, I could see, given a couple of more days, closed beta on Tuesday-Thursday.
If not, definitely next week.

Worst case scenario: It's as plain/bland or only slightly better than in Oblivion. The modding community fixes it, just like they did with Oblivion.
ANY flaws in this game I know can be fixed through patches and mods.
A huge part of why I love the Elder Scrolls series.
