I haven't looked into it recently but I heard a while ago that the Sunwoko's set for monk was going to be changed so that the decoys always exploded with the damage type of your highest element% so you didn't have to always be holy.

Firstly, is this the case now?

And secondly, if this is the case then wouldn't that mean using this ring with sunwoko's would pretty much have you always benefit from a 200% damage boost?

Yea, I had more then 4 action bar skills because I've been swapping them around a lot, not really sure which are the best just yet.

I suppose Storm Armor with Shocking Aspect and Familiar with Sparkflint could be good options to have less spenders

Hey, I've lurked for a while but just recently thought i'd like to share the wizard build i've been using since the 2.0 patch. I like to call it 'Bug Zapper' for fun just because I rely entirely on lightning damage and not really anything else (making ##% lightning damage on items very valuable). The 2 main items that I've seen to be great with this build are the Wyrdward ring which gives you a huge change to stun enemies, and the bracers that give you about 10% damage reduction for each nearby enemy that is stunned, I haven't been able to find the bracers yet though sadly.

If anyone can provide feedback on skills choices or legendary items that could benefit this type of build then it would be greatly appreciated :)

    Mouse Skills
    • Electrocute - Lightning Blast: This skill seems to be the best lightning one for generating arcane dynamo stacks.
    • Teleport - Wormhole: Teleport just feels like a must-have for me in any wizard build. The rune for damage reduction is also a great choice.

Action Bar Skills (I rely on Energy Twister and Magic Weapon, the others are just options that can be swapped around)

    • Energy Twister - Storm Chaser: A nice and fast way to offload your arcane dynamo stacks, and also pops another attack with Electrocute
    • Magic Weapon - Electrify: I'm not sure if this is actually better then force weapon, but with enough +##% lightning dmg it should be.
    • Wave of Force - Static Pulse: For a close range focus this is good since all of your skills will benefit from the extra damage mobs will take.
    • Meteor - Lightning Bind: Has it's own stun so good for if you need extra stunning on something
    • Force Hydra - Lightning Hydra: A little minion to dish out extra stuns, probably a good option if you have hydra effecting legendaries
    • Arcane Orb - Spark: not really that good unless you can guarantee large groups to use it on, but if you can then great.

    Passive Skills
    • Arcane Dynamo - Electrocute builds this up really fast, and you can then offload the 5 stacks on any of your AP costing skills.
    • Prodigy - Allows electrocute to build up your arcane power very fast
    • Paralysis - May as well benefit from all the lightning covering your screen.

My main method of attack with this is to just use hold down electrocute while spamming Energy Twisters to keep my Arcane Power from filling up, it's pointless to build up 3 stacks from the energy twisters because you will miss out on the benefit from arcane dynamo on 2 of the twisters, and one stack of 3 is just as powerful as 3 stacks of 1 anyway.
