hello all. Sorry if this has been asked before... But, considering blizzards announcement that they are aiming for new game update this month, does this mean we are getting loot 2.0 and the new paragon system live this month? Im a bit confused.. Sorry

So no loot 2.0 before March 14th after ah removal? Since they believe ah would harm loot 2.0... thats still a long time away then... Damn...
This is why you should own the console version. im killing and looting amazing items and ill be doing it until RoS releases on PC.
Or maybe if you refuse to own a console you can get into some of the other ARPG on the market like PoE, TL2 or Marvel Heroes. I here Grim Dawn has a beta also.
Ive been in grim dawn beta since it started ^^. nice game yeah. Awaiting its release..
Anyways, lot of good comments here. I'm guessing most would say patch will come out after ah shutdown, wich i assume as well. Others are right about resets when lvl70 cap is raised too, still a little hope for release of loot 2.0 but hightly doubtfull.

It's an assumption. How can they implement the new loot system before then if they themselves said that ah would harm loot 2.0?Quote from Pietrak
Where did you get this info from?

hi all, been a long time since i've posted anything here on D-fans, but i've been here every day reading up on things...Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Anyways.. with everybody excited (or not) about what Blizz has to announce during GC2013 i thought i'd make another post in this topic.
I googled a lot about GC2013 and the D3 annoucement during this event. And i found something interesting on this site:
For those who dont want to read the whole thing, this is everthing short:
This guys says that the sentence "All the shadowing places that lie between..." (part of the official press invite that blizzard has send out) is a direct quote from one of the diablo novels (the sin war). And that in this book it's a reference to a place that exists not in the world of sanctuary, but in a different realm if you will... A place that the high heavens and burning hells have been raging war over for ages...
So what he's saying is that blizz might be giving a clue in it's official press invite with this quote. That the expansion might take place in a realm other then sanctuary. And that the announcement at GC2013 is expansion-related!!!
Off course this is only speculation. But you have to admit it's tantilizing that Blizzard is using exactly those words in its press-invite that they've send out!!!
Either it's a poor choice of words from blizzard OR a major teaser for the fans!!!
Can anyone here who has read the diablo novels (especially the sin war book) confirm that what this guy is saying is true and that the sentence really is referring to a place different from sanctuary??
And if so... what do you guys make of this??? For one, this reference to the sin war novels has me all worked up about the upcoming announcement at GC2013!!! Let me know...

ermm ok, let me start of by saying that i get your arguments. i understand that doubling the droprates for legendary will affect the AH.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
But please, for just this one time, look at it from the eyes from other players who have NOT been lucky farming items.
I see myself as a huge fan of the diablo franchise, playing all games en expansions etc... ever since the start.
I followed D3's development from day one on a daily basis....
Then the game finally came out after years of waiting....
Since its launch on may 15th, i've found a total of 4 legendaries, played 600+hours and was able to sell only one of those legendaries for a meager 12milion. Witch obviously isnt that much if you look at todays prices for high end items....
Where the hell,in all of this, is a dedicated player like me finding joy in playing the game for 600+ hours without being rewarded every now and then???
i understand they shouldnt drop legendaries like crazy!!! but i mean common!!!!! give me a break. Does blizz really expect me to farm till im practicly blind or do they want me to find the game interesting and exciting??
truth be told, i kinda gave up on the game a few weeks ago... and went for GW2, and i believe blizz had it coming. no one is willing to spend countless hours in a game and not get some sort of benefit out of it.
i'd rather find all of my gear myself after countless farming then having to spend millions on the ah. the economy is of no interest to me if i cant be a part of it! ('cause how can you be a part of it if you never have anything to sell or no gold to buy anything!)....
so im glad they're gonna double the drope rate. May make me come back to the game once 1.05 is online... We'll see how this patch makes the game turn out for me...
