Aug 20, 2011Stalker7d7 posted a message on Inferno RevealedWhat's with the end-game in games these days being just the game, but on a harder difficulty (or similar)? Why can't they add in a real end-game aspect to the game instead of just this recurring copy paste bullshit?Posted in: News
Same for D2, until the introduced Über D and the pandemonium events, which were/are great IMO.
I just hope we get a version of the Secret Cow Level. If we don't, I'm afraid I may hurt somebody. Somebody whose name rhymes with May Filson... -

Would take longer to make 'strategies' to avoid the use of potions. And if you count running away from them while hitting them with a blizzard or something, that doesn't count as a 'strategy', because then running in and standing there using potions would also count as a 'strategy'.Quote from ScyberDragon
Maybe if you strategized more you wouldn't need to just spam potions
Actually, I can, cuz I did, stand there, and use potions, while they died by my wrath. With Radament, I just owned his oversized ass, then the other skellies near to him died. That's the most effective way of killing the skellies...Quote from ScyberDragon
You can't say that the ancients was just standing there and spamming potions. You had to plan out who you were going to attack first and who to avoid. With radament, you had to balance out fighting off the other skeletons and going after him.
My only hope for d3 is that we get a decent opportunity to actualy formulate strategies, better then spaming potions, or 'running and gunning'... -

Having to think and strategize to kill them? No. Having to use a lot of potions? Yes.
not even for duriel a little bit?
That was a joke right? Cuz he took a lot of potions...especially on hell...
Don't even think about bringing the Übers into this discussion. -

Aug 15, 2010Stalker7d7 posted a message on Epic BattlesPosted in: NewsQuote from ScyberDragonMemorable foes like Radament, Blood Raven, and The Ancients stopped us from our usually thoughtless hacking and forced us to think and strategize on how to kill these monsters.
No, they didn't. I just kept on hackin, and they died. The ones that got me to think for a second were...umm...cows... Should I hack, or should I run? -
Aug 8, 2010Stalker7d7 posted a message on Do You Believe In Life After Hell? One idea for end game content is to allow players to run through the original campaigns of Diablo I and II with their characters. (: But that would require them to construct the maps and scripting of 2 other games into Diablo III, which would be very time consuming... ):Posted in: News

BS. They just half-assed this patch...They may as well have called it 1.12.2 -

They're too big balance- and not coding-wise, the legacy team does not have the manpower to balance them.
Like I said before, test realm. Why do they have that up, if not for balancing? Is it really a preview realm?
And still, I ponder the question of why the test realm is up. There doesn't seem to be anything to balance, or even test. Not yet anyways... *fingers crossed* -

How long it took to make 1.13? Even now, I wish they just reverted to 1.09. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

The funny thing is that the way Blizzard implemented the AH and the RMAH (and battle net) are severely flawed.
First, the AH is a gold sink and has a limit, leading to people trading item for item/gold on forum.
Second, the way games are now created and joined, makes it very difficult for you to create games with the intent on trading items. You have to add soembody to your friends list to trade for a specific item.
Third, you can't get your real money back from blizzard when you use the real money auction house. Thus, people will still trade on forums, for real money. With paypal being the way it is, it will be very easy for people to securely trade items for $$, or $$ for items. Ain't no way in hell I'm giving blizzard $$ just to buy items in game, when I can use that money offline for better items. And also sell my items offline for the cash.
Fourth, bring back the cow level, get rid of whimsyshire you butthurt devs.

I hope you're wrong... ):
I mean, I'd at least like to be able to add 1 socket to an item.

Seeing in the end cinematic that the black soulstone wasn't actually destroyed, it's very possible for the prime evils to come back. I'm thinking that even if it was destroyed the souls wouldn't be destoryed as was told by Adrai, for two reasons:
-Why woudln't they have destroyed the soulstone that baal was in when they imprisoned him?
-Why would Adria tell us something that could ruin her plans?
Also, because Adria escaped after she used Leah (poor leah) as a sacrifice for Diablo, she will probably try to get the black soulstone and ressurect Diablo (and possibly other prime evils) again.
Thoughts?

You're either blatantly lying, or you have no idea what "without rushing" and "doing side exploration" means...
I think I got in 19 hours before my first diablo kill. And there are parts where I skipped through some content because I just wanted to get through it faster.
So, upload screenshot proof that you've beaten diablo and that you only have 5 hours, ot gtfo... 'Ya fuckin troll...

And that's why I think a lot of people will hate this secret level rather than just dislike it. It would have been more acceptable if it were in normal Diablo 3 graphics (like the cow level was in normal diablo 2 graphics). But nooooooooo. They had to go and ruin it with ridiculous graphics...

Obviously not... But from my experience, it's a surpsiingly high drop rate (from Izual). I've killed izuall 5 times, and gotten the plans twice... Now I have useless plans in my stash, because they are account bound...

Interesting...
I think a lot of fans will be disappointed if this is a replacement for a cow level. Very disappointed.

I also got the plans from izual.

It's a randon spawn. I started a new game 3 times and found it, the other times the fireplace was empty.
