remember we thought theres no more doom game? but then they anounced it surprisely to all gamers around the world at e3 last year or i dunno forgot the year, but hey would that be a big surprise even though we know, read, and heard lotta rumors bout this d3 already?.... but that unknown v-clip i saw from x-play was really looks like cain sittin that chair and that demon who tried to break the seal, but yeah its anonymous game from blizzard dunno when's the date it'll release thu all they said "its one of the most played game over almost a decade and another anonymous game is coming"
they annouced the DOOM game i think about a year before it was released? i could be wrong, but i do remeber it was quite some time before the game actually came out.
like all good things, you want people to know about it, have time to contemplate how great its going to be. and more importantly, let people save up money to buy it ;).

if diablo 3 came out ANYWHERE, this is the internet. people would know about it. its not like your buddy would just waltz into a store, pick up the only copy of D3, and just start playing....
most games come out in asia (mainly japan) first anyways, so people keep a very close eye to see whats coming down the pipe.
but i think diablo 3 would either be a american relase first, or worldwide.
all diablo PC games are $49.99 even though you can go to wal-mart and buy the first 2 plus the expansion pack for $25... so im guessing they just posted it as $49.99 cause it said diablo. this seems to be a poorly managed site.
i think mercenarys should be able to use ALL equipment. rings boots gloves ammy belt wep armor helm everything. and have a small inventory. like 1/4 the size of your inventory. so that he can use charms such as gheeds and anni (obviously not a torch because thats class specified) but then mercs would be more useful because we could jack their resistance up and their abilities alot more. i know alot of people that hate mercs cuz they cost alot and die to much......im hoping to change that. tell me wut u think

like someone else said, it would be nice to have them be aggressive, passive, defensive etc. at the push of a button. alot of times i would see my merc attack once run around and basicly do nothing half the time. perhaps a better merc AI? so that they are more useful.
it could also be useful for bosses, make them run around and they could make nice decoys.
i think wepons just for merc's would be nice too. giving them stats that would benifet them more than your regular char. might make them less suceptable to dying early on...
diablo 3 is coming out in may of this year
i saw that on google in this really long message board there was a guy from blizz talking and he said that its going to be heaven v.s hell. hell is trying to take over hell and u have to help heaven.he also said its going to be pay to play on b.net there will be a single player mode and ya thats pretty much all he said.

and since when do people that work for blizz go to random boards and spill the beans on games?
