posted a message on MF Increase per kill idea
Although there's a system to 'prevent really unlucky players', I completely agree Magic Find should exist in some form. I hope this doesn't come across as self promotion but as it is fairly similar to what I suggested in my previous suggestion thread, where I mentioned having MF per kill in Rifts only - at a similar rate to what you suggested but not resetting it so Rifts becomes more rewarding, especially and/or more likely if a player decides to finish all 10 levels. Of course it doesn't have to be in Rifts but I feel that with a maximum set amount of monsters, it could just be the place for a MF system to be implemented.

I jcertainly think it's an idea that could be made workable with some adjustments here and there and it's definitely something the community could play around with. Here is my full suggestion post if any of you would like to take a peek.

I like the idea of increasing density, but I think that may need to be done overall. I would rather see campaign mode have legs that only drop in that path to make it desirable for people to farm that mode. For example, you want a full set of Tal' Rasha's, then you have to get the belt and chest in adventure mode, amulet and helm in campaign, and the source could drop from either mode or from rift guardians or by farming a specific boss.
    No.

    Just...no.

Thornagol, sadly I'm pretty sure we won't see any "wells of mystery/greed" anytime soon™ as stuff like that take time to develop, and we all know how Blizzard can take their time. I'm confident we'll see Goblin land in the future but my suggestions are based on what I believe is possible to be done in a "short-ish" period of time hence most of my suggestions involves reusing graphics and combining different existing systems.

I agree that the design of Rifts is incomplete but it is overall very encouraging even thoughthere is currently little or no incentive for finishing the Rift.On the other hand, I feel that most players won't be satisfied by having Magic Find back in a "health well" form - Magic Find should and could be a big part of game play. Having MF in Rifts will certainly enable an incentive to farm (as much as you want) in a constantly changing environment.

    1. Players happy, that finishing Rifts will have an incentive and that they are being rewarded while (every single kill counts) farming + Magic Find system is back;

    2. Developers happy, MF issue is solved, at the same time Rifts will be suitable for both causal and experienced players. Rifts being finished.

So really, why not combine it in Rifts? I've yet to think of a major flaw with this and I'd really like to see a Developer's view on this.

Sure this might need some testing and all that but this could potentially be Diablo's new page without using a single penny on the Art department! I won't mind the special legendary in Campaign mode suggestion you made, though it still doesn't make me want to go to Campaign mode, rather than being forced to play there...It's a tricky one this one...

I've got to say I'm really pleased with the amount of views, but the amounts of replies is quite disappointing. In short, thanks for reading, mind suggesting the goods/bads too?
I'd have thought adding Magic Find in Nephalem Rifts and 1.08 monster density in Campaign mode would stir up some discussions as imo it is a very workable and realistic task which would definitely push the game into the right direction. The original intent of this thread was to gather ideas on given topics (and presenting mine) so I hope this could go somewhere..

posted a message on Suggestion post for RoS
Hi all, I’ve been meaning to write up a suggestion post for quite awhile, but a combination of laziness and “there’s too much, I give up” has put me back. However, there are some encouraging signs lately and so I decided to give RoS another chance and bought the game along with a couple of my mates. It’s about US$35 in Hong Kong, where I’m located, so the price was fair imo, which helped.

Anyways, I’m not the greatest at photoshop or posting stuff but I’ve tried to split my suggestions into the following so hopefully it’s easier for the eye. If you decide to leave a feedback, please keep it civil and constructive as I only want the best for Diablo and some of these suggestions I feel would enhance the game greatly.
EDIT: I epic failed the topic title as I forgot to edit it whilst in preview, if anyone can tell me where to change it I'd appreciate it!

    Table of Contents
    I. Revival of the Magic Find system, available in Nephalem Rifts only
II. Rebalancing Blood Shards in Nephalem Rifts
    III. New Devil’s Hand
    IV. New event: Diablo’s Disciple
    V. 1.08 density in Campaign
VI. Crafting mats don't need to drop/pickup
VII. Conclusion and WD’s Toad of Hugeness

    I. Revival of the Magic Find system, available in Nephalem Rifts only
I’ll try to keep it short here: Blizzard wants players to actually finish the Rifts (even occasionally) and Nephalem Rifts to be the most rewarding system; On the other hand, players want Magic Find back and have shown a willingness to grind for items; It almost looks logical to implement a Magic Find system in Nephalem Rifts exclusively, thus enabling players to have a better chance of being rewarded appropriately and letting players have a reason to finish the Rifts. Casual players can still benefit by this solution if Magic Find is based on the numbers of enemies killed (eg. 0.5% MF per kill). So let’s say there’s a total of 800 mobs in the Rift in 10 levels, a player would gain 400% MF at the end. This provides an alternative way to farm as some may decide to only finish the Rift master and collect the Blood Shards, which I will expand on a bit later in the post. It’s a win-win for everyone and this would definitely be a very welcoming transformation of the Magic Find system. If this doesn’t make too much sense yet, don’t worry, I’ll be expanding my thoughts in the following sub-topic.

    Travis Day on Magic Find:
    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/10895540027?page=2#24

II. Rebalancing Blood Shards in Nephalem Rifts
Blood Shards are currently a little dull imo and could do with a little adjustment. I suggest awarding extra Magic Find but less Blood Shards in Nephalem Rifts - Party mode and no bonus Magic Find but award extra Blood Shards in Solo so players in party get better loot in general and Solo players can make up the lost Magic Find by Gambling with their additional Blood Shards. This small change will make Gambling a more exciting experience and it provides players an extra option in how to obtain legendaries (some may decide to only play solo/party), giving Blood Shards a whole new value for players.

Eg. Proposed Base Magic Find and Blood Shards awarded in Rifts
No. of Players % Magic Find Blood Shards

    1 Player 0 MF 8 BS

    2 Players 25 MF 6 BS

    3 Players 50 MF 4 BS

    4 Players 75 MF 2 BS

In a 4 player party game, players could potentially be with 400%+ Magic Find near the end levels if they decide to go all the way. Blizzard can decide to cap it if they want but a similar system would make Gambling, Blood Shards and Nephalem Rifts all worthwhile to farm for, at the same time feeling rewarded.

    III. New Devil’s Hand
As the old Devil’s Hand looks like it’s going nowhere, I’d like to introduce a new Devil’s Hand experience, which is also based on collecting Cards.
Take your favourite boss for a catwalk! Collect cards to decide which Unique Monster or Bosses to summon for 15 minutes. Best yet, they also deal damage (scaled to difficulty, capped damage obviously) and the “pet” will be chained to the player.

Spoiler for Blizzard’s stealth-postponed Devil’s Hand event on Diablowiki:

The original Blizz version of Devil’s Hand offered legendaries as rewards but I feel that the rewards should be changed to something that a player can show off to their mates and at the same time able to have fun with. One of the ideas that keeps popping up for RoS is Timed Dungeons, so I’ve taken that route as there’s definitely a demand for that. Yes, we already have one but it doesn’t spawn enough to be worth farming for and most importantly, the reward is very “meh”.

But let’s pretend for a second that this will now spawn in every game in Act 2 (or any new event/ location), will players play it if it becomes a little challenging and the rewards were tuned to having “pet cards” available? I certainly think so, I know I’d definitely play it extensively for awhile at least to see who my favourite pet is - and who deals best AoE/ DPS/ Crowd control etc. Now imagine having a grading system of what cards you can receive in certain difficulties; Diablo, Mephisto, Baal only available in Torment 6; The Butcher, Belial, Azmodan in Torment 5 etc.

Maybe even include a system where you can upgrade Torment 5 cards to Torment 6 card by talking to the NPC Treasure Hunter but I won’t go into too much details to derail any possible suggestions here. The outline of the idea is there and I hope it gets looked at because who doesn’t want to make Diablo their *beep* afterall...?

    IV. New event: Diablo’s Disciple
Slightly similar to the Cursed Chest, this is a random spawn mini “event” where sudden Black Beam will shoot from the sky on a random enemy (higher chance to be on an elite/gob etc) which grants the enemy back to full health and add 200% HP/ DPS but awards 100% exp for 5 minutes after death (can stack!) in the same game. These Black Beams won’t spawn until you have hit at least 50% of their health - This way players are more likely to finish off mobs and not just “run to the next elite, bye bye” type of game play. With a few tweaks, this could possibly solve that particular problem and make general gameplay more exciting.

    V. 1.08 density in Campaign
There’s no point for us to play Campaign mode atm, right? Why not make Campaign mode competitive with Adventure mode by tuning the monster density back to 1.08 and look to introduce PvPve in Campaign mode in the future, if the argument is “but Campaign mode is for newbies”, then increase the density in Torments only. If it’s because of server issues then I suggest Blizzard to look into that anyways. I intended to also talk about Ubers but after some careful thoughts I think it is where it should be.

VI. Crafting mats don't need to drop/pickup
Reusable, Arcane Dust and Veiled Crystal are the new crafting materials for white, blue and rare items. They certainly feel like they take up a whole load of space and it’s annoying to click these materials one by one on the floor. Similar to gold, I’d suggest these to be picked up automatically or not drop at all, letting players to pick blue items (or whatever they need for crafting) when they need to. The blues have actually responded to the community concerning this topic as I’m typing this bit up so I believe they have a few things in mind so I won’t bother going into detail, but this has to happen - bar Forgotten Souls as suggested by the Blues.

VII. Conclusion and WD’s Toad of Hugeness
I’ll admit, I’m looking forward to RoS. Will I recommend it to my mates? Not really yet, Blizzard has the money (and took their sweet time) to make the game far better and I expect to see great improvements before the second expansion. I have a feeling that contents aren’t getting released because of the second expansion, I won’t judge Blizzard if that is the case but it’d have been a good idea to be more open with developing contents (ie. PvPve, Elemental damage, proper Trade system and Ladders - yes I mentioned these taboo subjects), let the community decide/ discuss on certain subjects and don’t be so stubborn on trying to “perfect” the content, let us contribute before making all the decisions! Stuff like Witch Doctor’s Toad of Hugeness skill and still no forum avatars on the official Blizzard forums really spills how much work and attention this game needs, not just from the developers but Blizzard in general and although I feel we are on the right path, it is still taking way too long. I’m just an average gamer and I know there are certain technical and financial difficulties bla bla bla when developing, but that shouldn’t stop a company like Blizzard making Diablo a great game again. I’ll still have my fair share of fun in RoS, I just wish I’ll still be enjoying it in a few years time. Hope this suggestion post gets some discussion going, I’ll be following any responses.

P.S I took a few links from the net without asking so I hope I hadn’t offended anyone, great forum for posting by the way - hope my signature issue gets fixed soon though :P

The old Legacy Nats will be op thats for sure
The old Legacy Nats will **get you one shot or miss 1/3 of your dexterity**, is the correct thing. That bonus is not even great in PTR 2.0.1, let alone at lvl 70, Id take the new nat in a heart beat even if they had the same stats, unending Rain of vengeance > discipline regen that you dont really need (gear is flooded with + discipline and nobody even use shadow power anymore, if you had not noticed yet).
Im not even sporting any of the passives that regen discipline and i have too much for what i can do with it on the beta, i dont get what OP you could get from that set, aside from terrible stats.

It could work OK with Mystic re-rolling some stats and maybe that -1 to set items ring but I agree that it definitely won't be OP, but I'm still gona save a set. Would be nice in PvP, just saying...
