Gear can only take you that far. Skill is required.
If gear was all. Then why arent i on grift 40 + ? i got the gear for it. But i lack the skill to get much further than 37. Moving out of stuff fast enough. Knowing when to run and when to fight. Stuff like that.

Luck is also a big part of greater rifts tho

i would actualy like to see you go 40 + on dh. Its not as easy as you may think.

Oh really. Since the release of RoS we have had _1_ furnace in our clan. thats around 11 players playing fairly much.
Since 2.1 ive had 11 gifts. i have 4 in my stash and 1 on my seasonal stash as we speak. So yeah. Quoted for truth

Maybe i should try this build. Im not a greater rift player. I mainly just farm t6 and a few greater rifts here and there. So it will be to just get something else to do really

Tiny bit sad tho. You had more mobs in that one rift than ive had in my last 10 combined

Same chance of legendarie. Less time spent gambling. Same amount of crafting mats (more from bosses insted) This is a semi decent thing

Im running the same spec. What ive noticed is that you need to release the button and start to rechannel quite often. It sucks because ray of frost do more dmg the longer you hold it. But its better to hit the mobs :p. Seems like you hit a lot of mobs and then suddenly it snaps out of the hitbox and you need to release and re aim

Wizzard is strong because you can actually smash a difficulty with low gear & proper spec. You should try different spec depending on the gear you find, it's really easy to itemize.

But if you look for easy gear, just farm T6 with your main try to group up with well geared wizzard and ask for item they don't need. You'll get a good start in a few hours. Many wiz wants to reroll dh because they think firebird is boring, less efficient. The irony.

I am playing my Wizard aswell. Running a light of grace ray of frost build. Can do t4ish with unity. But spending days without much progress is kinda boring no matter what class you play

Hola. Just wondering how you gear up alts or new main chars

I recently changed from Demon Hunter to Wizard. I find the gameplay on the demon hunter to be too boring.

The way i have been gearing up my Wizard is Running torment 1-2 rifts. Which i found to be too slow. Now im running greater rift rank 1-20 ish on the wizard which i can do fairly easy with 0-2 legendaries per boss kill and some shards. Im also farming t6 on my DH (aprox 500 shards per half an hour) and spend the shards on my wiz. And from time to time. Leech into my friends t6 rifts. Hoping for full firebird so i can start doing some real wizard playing on my own. But this far. Ive got 3 pieces in a little under a week so i'm turning more and more emo

Thats my method of operations.So, how do you do it ?

Just run Core of Arreat (act3) and then Royal crypts (act1, before skeleton king) These are the best 2 places in the game. Straight forward. Minimal spot to look and rather high chance of spawning a gob.

Rinse repeat. There is no faster way to farm goblin rifts and i just did my 9th vault run today after patch. And i havent been farming much.

They should end the first season asap and none of the progress should be taken over to normal. So much exploiting have been going on that it isnt even funny.

End season 1 and call it a pre season warmup and start the real season. with the exploits fixed

we spent 2 days farming keys. Avarage 13 hours. 3 people on t6. Me as a Danetta perma vault DH finding the Wardens. They spawning on me and close to oneshotting the wardens. We spent no more than 5 min per warden. Most of the time it was less than 3 min.

When we were done we had the mats enough to create ... drum roll. 7 amulets...

How the hell did you get the mats to create 150 of them? how long did that take? 3 years ?

they need to up the drop rate on shit to atleast 75%. at the worst i killed 11 act3 wardens in a row without a drop for a key of war
averaging 1 key per 4 kills. 50% my ass.

The heart of evil. Dont even get me started on that. Needless to say. Im not gonne get a HF amulet. Ever

I disagree with djonka. In group play this would do tons. Especially if you got to see where you placed in the group. I would use this to smack talk the hell out of my friends and that would drive us all competitively. Just because you are the luckiest person alive. Doesnt that mean the game is easy to gear up in. Ive played my DH for atleast 5 hours a day for close to a month. I just barely got my marauder set. Really wank rolled. And the best weapon ive got is a frikking Cluckeye. And thats with t6 rifting nonstop for 5-6 hours a day (being unemployed. i dont do much else than playing)
