I can tell you a little something something about why you should NEVER try this.

I was also after a incense torch of the grand temple. I made a new monk because i never got it and thought i try my luck on a new character. While getting boosted by my friends one dropped. A lvl 53 one. Needless to say. Much rage was had

still havent found a damn rimeheart and im over paragon 620.. wtf is wrong with this game...
Nothing is wrong. Remember that Rimeheart used to be two and a half times rarer prior to the patch, and even now it's among the rarest tier of items.
    Random drop is entirely random.
And i got 4 rimehearst where one was an ancient while gambling for a dagger of darts. All within a week.
Just too bad its a int rimeheart

Number 4. No. It would be too easy to get gear. Which is the main incentive to keep playing. Why would you keep playing when you had the best shit ?

They really need to sort out crafting mats asap. Blue to yellow ratio is way off.

And also. 500 cap of shards. Its just plain lame. I like to gamble in bulk. Gambling for weapons in the new system. 5 weapons at a time max.. Fuck that. Get the cap up to a few thousands atleast

posted a message on A real attempt at addressing the stash space dilemma
What they really need to do to sort most issues out is adding a crafting mats/gem storage. That is separate from the stash. And adding a personal stash for all your chars.

I have many alts. I mainly play my monk, my WD, my crusader and my DH.

In my storage i have one tab for crafting mats and gems and keystones.

One for legendary potions and legendary gems.

I have one for random gear i keep. And 2 for character gear im using.

Usualy my WD and my Monk gear. The classes i play the most.

When i am going to play my crusader or DH which also got 2-3 sets each. I need to log onto the monk. Take all the gear from the stash on the monk and log my crusader. Then take all the crusader gear into the storage before i can play.

This could be avoided if i could keep all my gear on each char in a characters personal stash.

posted a message on Numpad Trick. Banable ?
To put things into perspective, players have been using bots and ram readers (like t-hud) for well over a year now with no repercussions. You really think a normal keyboard function is going to be something on blizzard's to-do list? It's not like it breaks anything anyway. (I don't use it, because I want more than 6% RCR on my Monk).
How do you deal with the Taeguk gem then ? If you are using it that is

posted a message on Numpad Trick. Banable ?
    Hai.

I seriously doubt you can. But im asking anyways. Paranoid to the max :p

Im using sweeping wind to keep my Taeguk stacks up. At first i was spamming the button nonstop. Gave me cramps. Then i noticed that i could just hold the button in and click move with the mouse to keep it stacking up.

Now i learned the numpad trick.

Bind the button you want to numpad 1-9. I chose 1. Then press and hold 1 and press numlock. And now you trick the keyboard to think you are still holding the button in even tho you release itø. Ergo. You now stack the taeguk and do not have to worry about it ever again.

You are not using any 3rd party programs so this cant be banable can it ?

posted a message on Top10 Rarest Legendaries
I've played my two WD more than any other class. Paragon 400+. Have literally every Leg and Set WD item, but never seen a Rhen'ho Flayer.
And i have had like 6 the last two weeks farming for my dagger of darts. Which i have had once in 591 paragon levels. It took me from paragon 501 to 587 to get dagger of darts.

I have had 2 starmetal kukri. 3 rimehearts and after the patch. A metric shittonne of tasker and theos. Even a almost perfectly rolled ancient one.

A friend of mine have had 7 shard of hates and 2 furnaces. Ive never even seen a furnace drop. Ive not even been in a game with someone that got a furnace

Legendary rarity is different for each person.

They should add an toggleable option. For autopickup on both potions, gems and crafting mats. Where you can toggle what to pickup and what to leave

    Quote from Autocthongo-next

so what you are saying its that once a legendary has been collected even if its not identify "allready" has been predefine as ancient legendary in the algorithm blizzard uses? (which we still don´t know how exactly that works ,so its technically hipotetically right? as the same for my theory....)
A legendary is determined as ancient on drop. Just like everything's stats are determined on drop. Doesn't matter when you identify it, doesn't matter how you got it, doesn't matter how many times you've identified copies of that item.

10% of the time a legendary is ancient and that status is determined when the item is generated not when it's identified.
This. Salvaging non useful items like daggers, polearms, chaingmail and the list goes on to avoid wasting a ancient roll is not possible. The item is rolled when it drops. Not when you identify it. You basicly salvage unidentified ancient items insted. Which is still useless

posted a message on Carnevil, pets or jade ?
I have a SMK pet build. A Sun keeper Jade build. And now today i got an ancient dagger of darts. And the cernevil build is by far my favorite. It was decent but inneficient before getting the dagger. But now with the dagger. Stuff dies so fast. Groups of mobs just smelting in seconds on t6. And grift 35 was easy aswell for me. Havent tried higher yet. Unstable internet atm. Dont wanna try yet

posted a message on Carnevil, pets or jade ?
I would litteraly kill for a dagger of darts now. Over a week with 5-6 hours rifting a day. close to 50k shards spent. Possibly even more. Been lucky with blood thiefs.

"Marathon" session. 13 hours straight rifting. Only 1 ceremonial knife the entire day.

    minirant over.

I find Jade build really boring. pet build works. But not really viable higher levels.

The carnevil build is more or less the only reason im still playing diablo atm. It seems really fun. But without the dagger i am terribly inneficient -.- Killing mobs 1 by 1 insted of groups

posted a message on Analysis Carnevil 2.2
Im now at 3 rimehearts. 1 shard of hate. 1 smk and 1 odyn's son. And a metric shittonne of generic 1h axes and swords.

    Still no dagger of darts.

I get around 20-30 weapons per 1 ceremoinial knife. And when i first get one. I get the spider queen knife. (with the exception of the terribly rolled smk) I can go an entire day with only one ceremonial knife. Is the drop rate fucked up ?

When playing my dh or monk i get a lot more Bows and fist weapons then i get Ceremonial knives on my WD

I used the grin reaper build when 2.1 came out. And it looks like the spider queens have been nerfed. They didnt do near the same amount of dmg they used to for me

posted a message on Why finish rifts after guardian is dead?
Always full clear. More Exp, more Loot, more legs. I never join groups who just kill the rift boss and open new one. You would not believe how many Legendarys you are missing out, just because you arent full clearing.
Urm. If keystones were hard to get. This would apply. However. If you have more than 1000 keystones like myself. Its the same fuck if you kill the 10 elites after the RG is dead or if you kill those 10 before the next one.

You will get more loot by closing after guardian and start a new because you get more shards ontop of the same amount of kills

the goblin pack you find after the guardian. Its just as likely you will find in the start of the next one.
