As game progress I find myself more and more in cases where I'm out of arcane resource
Other than the trivial solutions I struggle between two options, increasing my "Max arcane resource" or increasing my "+Arcane resource on crit"
Due to poor economic condition in the EU I can't offer them both
I am currently 36% crit change + 6% crit chance with arcane Orb (my main offensive tool) so my feeling is that I should aim for the "+Arcane resource on crit" path
Thoughts?
Regen (AP on crit) is far more important than increasing the size of the pool slightly. I don't play my 60 wizard but afaict there is hardly any reason to get +max arcane power because either you have enough regen that you never get low AP or you don't have enough regen and no matter how much max AP is you will eventually run out.
The only real benefit Max AP has is that it has threshhold points that will let you get extra orb casts off before you run your AP pool dry at the start of a fight. This is most useful if you use a rune besides Tap The Source (like me, but most use Tap the Source) . With that said I'd say max AP has some benefits but AP on crit is more versitile.
