I'm not that big of a fan of pets so yeah I kind of just went with damage and survivability. Does it look good or is there anything you would change??
How viable is this build in inferno? Only reason I'm asking is cause I don't know very much about WD just the basics. Haven't started leveling my char yet but I plan to once i finish getting my Wiz to 60.
looks decent depending on your gear, hows your crit chance and damage for bats, also do you have any mana problems? you could through hex into your talents with 20% damage to hexed targets replacing darts and change a passive to vision quest if your having troubles with mana and with 5 cooldowns it wont feel like a struggle to keep the mana regen up, but if you decide to go that path try and find some items with mana regen best choices on helm and offhand
Drop BR. Drop SA. Buy mana regen gear off the AH if you need it, typically ~10 regen for darts, and 30+ for Bats. Don't use Dart with Bats, pick one or the other.
Honored Guest isn't necessary for Darts, but will be for Bats assuming you have a decent attack speed and use GotD.
If you use Bats, you should get 5 cooldowns with VQ.
If you use Darts, you don't need VQ.
Frightening Aspect should only be used if you're tanking, not for kiting. Face of Death makes more sense.
Truthfully, Big Bad Voodoo and Fetish Army are better cooldowns than Horrify and Soul Harvest.
It's only necessary to switch to shorter cooldowns when you kill things fast enough (with high MF) to encounter more than 1 champ pack every 2 min. And you shouldn't need more than Grasp and Spirit Walk to kill champ packs if you have BBV and FA.
This is the build I used when starting to farm A1 with MF gear. I haven't seen a build that's more efficient for farming A1.
But like I said, once you fight more than 1 champ pack / 2 min (roughly) BBV and FA become a lot worse. At that point you can either get Bats or just use Horrify and SH with Darts.
Out of pure laziness, I recommend every WD use BBV/FA and blow them whenever even a mildly annoying elite pack shows up. The loot that drops is so crappy, why spend more time on it than you have to?
BBV + 30% damage and FA (3 extra dagger dudes) seems to have the most damage output. The 2 range runes suck; the instant damage ambush one is nice, but according to my math it is actually (slightly) lower DPS than the 3 extra attackers (assuming they don't run around like retards half the time, which they do tend to do).
You need to pick bats or darts and build around them better. Mana regen for bats, all out dmg for darts. BBV and fetish army are great burst for downing elites, keep grasp, if you want soul harvest then it should be siphon to heal with, if you go darts then change spirit walk to healing journey, blood ritual is terrible and should never be used for any build.
