I know it lacks a basic attack spell. But thanks to grave injustice, after 7 proxy enemy kills, you would be able to spam GOTD. I know this might not be something optimum but there's an awesome burst damage potential to it. And i also know there might be more changes comming but this still gives the idea of it.
- ZD with sacrifice gives you an average of 1000-1200% weapon damage and drops on average 3-4 globes. (you could x2 this damage if you wait untill ZD cd as reset and generate between 6-8 globes)
- SW can give you up to 910% weapon damage.
- Fetish army can do up to 1430% weapon damage on cast.
- Some GOTD adds on top of that for up to 832% weapon damage.
You can have up to 70% increased damage. The rotation would go something like this:
- Cast ZD. Wait 60 secs until the cooldown is reset.
- Enter battle, cast GOTD.
- Start blowing up your first pack of dogs.
- Summon your second pack.
- Use spirit walk and get into the pack of mobs (collect globes for extra damage).
- Cast fetish on top of the pack for ambush damage.
- Blow up your second pack of dogs.
- Cast fear so that you don't die in an instant.
- Collect orbs to refresh yourself.
The damage burst could go over 5000% damage within 10 seconds, with a minimum damage increase of 20% and a max of 70%.
That's a minimum of 60 seconds per engagement due to cooldown of zombie dogs. Sounds kind of slow to me for just one group of enemies.
Good idea though.

2 problems I have with this build. One, you're using Spirit Walk as an offensive spell, as soon as it ends, you're probably now in the way of everything in meele range. Second, I would use Mass Confusion instead of Horrify, your pets are already tanking the enemy, why make them chase them causing aggro ? GOTD is not for damage, while I think it's a good rune pick, it's not a good pick for needing damage.
Laslty with Grave Injustice, ZD is still on too long a cooldown, and since you need them to tank, because you lack DD spells I wouldnt think it ok to Sac them. I think it could work, but you'll be less optimal with this build, just no solid choices.
Question: Does Pierce the Veil count toward pets / followers?

We don't know if Pierce counts due to it not being an available passive, I'll surmise that it probably won't and even if it did, honestly whats 20% going to do for 9%?
I can't see sacrifice builds being viable outside of Nightmare or maybe Hell, You're going to need those blighters too much to kill them come Inferno.

Well specificall, I was thinking again, Sac damage, so not 9%, but whatever each puppy is worth + or * 20% could be huge, but then again I agree with you, I don't think it's worth removing my meat shields for sac.

Question: Does Pierce the Veil count toward pets / followers?
First off, i can't agree more about sacrificing my dogs IF, i would've runed any other way around... With sacrifice being runed as alabaster and my Zd not being runed indigo nor alabaster, the best thing to do, is to sacrifice the dogs before they die. Else, i would not have taken sacrifice but then it would not be a high damage burst build would'nt it?
Secondly, i understand how you feel about spirit walk crimson. It does take you into meele range when you use it. This is why i took horrify, to get me out of trouble just after i reappear. Yes, confusion could've been ok too, but since the cooldown is so long, it won't synergize soon enough with spirit walk imo to be viable. Also, globes will be floating everywhere around because of the globe generating capability of this build, so it won't be as wreckless to get into meele range as long as you can position yourself conveniently.
Third, i can actually understand that GOTD is not a big damage dealing ability, being capped at 450% per cast or so. On the other hand, it is really cheap and as a good dps/mana ratio. It also is a great AOE damage dealing ability and as a nice slow effect for CC. With grave injustice, you will literally be able to flood the screen with GOTD once you reduce the cooldown so that all creeps might basically take 100% damage/sec and have a perma 50% movement slow effect upon them. Afterwards, when spirit walk and horrify's cooldown will get low, i will basically be in spirit realm all the time and dealing great damage this way.
Finally, i have to say that this build was not meant to be some optimal inferno setup and the idea was to design the best burst dealing possible build while still being viable to some extend. I have other setups made up for inferno purpose. Still, i will definetly give a shot to some builds being similar to this one.

I like your sig....
Not everyone is a micro-biologist. Truly profound.
A QUADRILLION MAGIC FIND is worthless if you can't kill shit!
