Mass Confusion / Alabaster - Targets killed whiled confused have 99% chance of spawning a zombie dog.
Plague of Toads / Alabaster - Poisons enemies ... and confuses affected enemies for 2 seconds.
Do these two spells work together to give me lots of dogs on my side?
This brings back the question posted on another thread... is there a maximum amount of dogs you can have? I can spawn 3 (4 with the passive spell) but will I be able to attain more dogs with these spells/rune combinations?

yea i dont expect to have like 10 dogs, but even if you can get an extra 1 (making 5 total possible with passive skill) i think that would be appropriate, because you are getting dogs from 2 sources instead of 1 so a little bonus would be cool.
the 4 sec cooldown on confusion is a good idea too for these purposes... but either way, with that many toads there will be many confused anyway..
i tweaked it around a little bit... the focus is CC with slows, confusion, and lots of sacrificing... i used to have sacrifice with alabaster but switched to crimson for, what sounds to me to be a LOT of +dam% after a few shots with sacrifice.
This build is still however dependent on my hopes that confused enemies from toads will still bring me a dog on death. With that being the case, i would seemingly spawn enough dogs that i wouldnt even need the summon spell itself. I could do any number of things with that extra slot... gargantuan instaed of dogs or just go fireball for a Nuke/DoT with crazy +dam% from sacrifice.
time will tell.
