You know I think is a neat idea for the site? A chat room! It can save lots of time and effort for those who have yes or no questions or just want a quick opinion without having to create a topic or have the issue of creating the same topic for the somethingeth time.
Although it might be a lot like the Diablo 2 battlenet chat rooms, filled with bots and all that crap. I dunno, I just think it would be a nice idea. Plus it would be an easier way for Diablofans to communicate to each other without having to worry about "oh damn I lost the thread now I have to search for ages through the forums searching for it"
What's your standing on this?

Bashiok - Blizzard Representative - 08/01/2011 -"So how many skill combinations are there now? Well taking into account 6 active skills, all the rune combinations, and 3 passives we currently expect each class to have roughly 2,285,814,795,264 different build combinations."
"Hey, I thought you'd like the witty irony of grub-on-glowie violence!"

Nomanis sane whodoesnot knowhow to beinsaneonproperoccasions.
Could also implement the post count (similar to URLs) to prevent bot accounts from instantly accessing the chat room. I think it's pretty neat.
I agree, since I spend a lot of time in the wizard forum here and I constantly see the same "I need help with gear" threads, despite even creating a massive gearing guide (which I guess isn't completely valid since I haven't updated it at all, oh well).
The downside is that the chat channel might get flooded because of all the help requests, not to mention all the potential off-topic conversations that could cut into game-related discussions. Could split it into multiple "rooms," but that's just complicating things.
I think the pro's and con's about having a chat room are pretty well known. It is a pretty interesting idea though. It's good to hear some feedback about it too, thank you for that! It'd be nice to here some more feedback from the Diablofans we have here. Maybe we'll get a reply from the mods or admins!
Any opinion is welcome to be expressed whether it be against or for so don't hesitate!
