As far as I can tell, with this WYSIWYG system currently implemented,
tags are automatically added here and there, and edits sometimes causes line breaks, , to be added into the mix. All in all it really looks like there's conflicting code involved, one trying to beat the other. I've never seen this in any forum software except here on Diablofans. Sometimes when I edit a post I find those
tags scattered around for no apparent reason, sometimes after having posted something and then editing it via "View Markup" I see double line breaks, also, or none at all, the culprit is apparent as far as I understand it;
tags introduced here and there in no real logical pattern, this is messy and it's been like this for years.
I've sometimes used Shift+Enter to circumvent that but I know that most people don't and even if they did it's problematic. The problem is that the tags aren't removed properly when doing that and this causes consistency issues. And this auto-fill-in of
tags is also the cause of those double or triple line breaks that you see in the builds posts btw, I know HTML/CSS, most people don't, they'll never figure it out (and neither will I using this system) and you can't expect them to, this isn't helping. Nothing good comes out of this, please have a thorough look at it. Perhaps it's just me, but I think not tbh.
