    Looks like the movement effect of the Hurricane rune is now in the skill itself.

    Maybe barbs will be able to move with any rune at 66% speed. This plus the new movement skill cap sounds like a buff, not a nerf.

    What's the new movement speed cap? Are you sure they moved it? As far as I know it will still be 25% (heard nothing of changing the cap)

    That said. 66% movement speed means if you have 25%, you will move at 16.5%.

    EDIT: Changed percents, I thought my barb was capped on movement speed, but apparently not according to a quick google search. :P

    What's the new movement speed cap? Are you sure they moved it? As far as I know it will still be 24% (heard nothing of changing the cap)

    That said. 66% movement speed means if you have 24%, you will move at 15.84%


    It wasn't confirmed yet, but perhaps the movement speed will have a higher cap since you can improve it with Paragon 2.0 points.

    If a barb have, let's say, 140% of movement speed (100% from his normal speed plus 40% from the new cap), he'll move at 92% of his total speed (66% of 140) while using whirlwind with any rune of his choice. Mass destruction. ^^

    • Weapons Master Gain a bonus based on the weapon type of your main hand weapon: / Swords/Daggers: 158% increased damage / Maces/Axes: 105% Critical Hit Chance / Polearms/Spears: 10% attack speed / Mighty Weapons: 3 Fury per hit

    More than likely, I don't think the movement speed will increase much even if it does. I feel like they will keep it at 25% and the points via paragon will be handy as in not having to get gear with + movement speed. That frees up an affix on those pieces of gear.

    That makes sense to me now, but overall - it's still a nerf, you lose movement speed. Sure, you run almost 100% speed in that theoretical equation BUT you lose your extra 40%. :P

    You should realize that most of the existing builds will still be possible, but will be activated via legendary affixes or set bonuses.

    I bet my bottom dollar their will be a piece/bonus that enables WotB, CM, Archon builds.

    I just read more of the thread, so many people are overlooking the gear effects. -_-

    The devs have said in the past that they don't mind those OP builds but they should be harder to achieve AKA it's likely they will be enabled via hard to find gear and/or synergies. i.e;


    Wizard 3-piece set bonus;
    -Every enemy that is killed in Archon form adds 1 second to the duration of Archon.


    Barbarian Legendary Weapon Affix;
    -Every 25 Fury gained while Wrath of the Berserker is active adds 1 second to the duration of the effect.
