    Glance at D3's Gamescom Booth
Lylirra is already at (what is going to be) gamescom in Cologne, Germany and was so good as to give us a sneak peek at D3's booth which looks very, very promising! What are your expectations for one of the biggest game conventions in the world?

    New Interview With Josh Mosqueira
A Polish Diablo fan site made an interview with D3's game designer Josh Mosqueira and although it's not a long one, it has some pretty interesting highlights. For example, have a look at the quoted question and answer and then make sure to read the whole interview here.

Great question! I say when people get to try out the game in a few weeks I want to hear from our players what console features they would like to see make its way to PC. Some, like Nephalem Glory could be simple changes we could think about. Others are more complicated and might even be out of the question, like Evade. Personally, I hope we can bring over the Item Queue.

    UnidColor's Diablo 2 Fan Art
A breathtaking collection of Diablo 2 fan art lurks for some time now in DeviantArt's limitless grounds. The talented user Swedish artist UnidColor has made several contributions to D2's rework - his style shows us what the game's art could've looked like had it been made today.

As a start, have a look at his awesome Claw Viper Temple recreation:

... then enjoy his Maggot lair depiction...

... and lastly, feast your eyes with the candy that these Thorned Hulk, Fetish Shaman and Giant Mosquito present to us.

As always, let us know if you liked them, in the comments! And you can even make UnidColor happy by showing him his talent and efforts are appreciated by dropping a comment on his deviantArt as well.

I spot the weapons of both Tyrael, Imperius AND Malthael in that middle chaos. Interesting.
It has been said... that in the end of all things... we would find a new beginning. But as the shadow once again crawls across our world... and the stench of terror drifts on a bitter wind... the people pray for strength and guidance. They should pray for the mercy of a swift death... for I've seen what the darkness hides!
    ... I don't think it's safe here.
Hoping for Pink Chain Lightning in D3!

That Imperius stained glass prop would be awesome to have!

    What seems to be there:
The Imperius stained glass window from Tristram Cathedral (as seen in the opening cinematic and Wrath)

A statue of a hand clasping a soulstone in the back corner?

The sword of Tyrael, probably the sickles of Malthael, maybe the spear of Imperius, and two unknown weapons (may not belong to the other angels - in Wrath, Ithereal has a straight sword and Auriel uses the Cord of Hope).

Two books in the rubble pile in the center. (look to have an angel design on them, don't appear to match Book of Cain or Book of Tyrael, but hard to tell)

A Banner, like what you can make in-game.

The 'stone wall' also looks to have hellfire coming over it.

hey guys. I'm one of the IT guys working at the gamescom and I haven't seen any sign of the expansion pack :/ .
But when I worked at the booth some stuff wasn't finished so maybe there is a small hope.

I'm curious what a sign would be. I assume any presentation they have is saved on a flash drive. I don't think they would have a big poster or anything because well it would be revealed by now. However since you work there what is stuff that you would expect to see?

If there special announcement is PS4/Xbox1 i hate them

    interesting bit of information:
    http://diablo.incgamers.com/blog/comments/diablo-3-expansion-trailer-rated

haven't given up hopes yet! remember that the teaser site doesn't really look like anything console related but of course
if the shit hits the fan and we get a "evil reborn on the console" or "patch x.xx adds finally addresses the jitter/lag issues" and hence the "death spreads it's wings over bla bla bla" - trailer i will seriously consider just forgetting about Blizzard or ever getting hyped by anything they do. In my honest opinion their writing (the core of the game) has suffered a gargantuan setback since the days of WC3tft. Starcraft 2 along with it's expac and the Diablo 3 main story arc with it's cheesy wow-ripoff background story plus kiddie-taunt diablo is the worst piece of anything Blizzard has ever pulled. Really disappointing. I hope now that the pros are off the Titan project they have managed to pull some stops on the piece of shit writing we have been seeing lately and also fix some of the awful dumbing down we have had to deal with. What is the point of gray items? Why are the first 3 difficulty levels a joke? Why the nephalem and some of the new background info given along with diablo 3 just doesn't FIT into the diablo lore? It's because it sucks giant monkey dong and the art style along with the writing style was utterly ruined by some greedy bastard who want's to lure in the kids. News flash: kids are lured in with the same old gothic hard-core content we have seen before, because it's something they want to experience because it's "new" "scary" and "forbidden" and they would remember it because the impression would be more powerful than with the watered down crap youre spoon feeding the fans now. Yes, i'm also saying that none of the fans want to remember this steaming pile of shit because it stands off as a lame kiddie version of the old Diablo as of now. Now is your chance: Make it or break it.

in short: against my better judgement i still have some hope.

Thanks to everyone at Diablofans for the feature! I'm glad you all enjoy the images, and thanks for all the comments, hopefully I will be able to create more fanart for diablo!

Well based on the inc gamers link it appears we will at least have a cinematic trailer / announcement tomorrow. I don't think we learn much about features until later in the week if not Blizzcon.

However I don't know the schedule, so I could be wrong and we could learn a lot tomorrow.
