Well, we were wrong about "The Dark Below" being a D3 Exp. I admit i'm a bit more exctited about the "special announcement" for Gamescom after this news, but i'm still on the defence, i won't let hype take control of me.
I think it's a fetish. They basically explored every act from d2 in d3 (wilderness, desert, highlands) so the kurast jungles would make sense as a new setting to explore once again. Looking forward to more info on this
I'm not skeptical anymore, but I am sad that Blizz will start announcing things on different conventions. This means even more unneeded hype, but most importantly - the watering down of BlizzCon, which was by far my favorite out there.
Honestly, I would rather have the games unveiled prior to Blizzcon than at Blizzcon. Especially as an attendee. I went to Blizzcon 2008 and I have to say I was quite pleased being in the grp of the first folks outside Blizzard's offices to play Diablo 3. The audience at the WWI that year got to enjoy the thrill of the reveal, but I was much happier getting to play test the game and being shown a new class.
