Heroes have risen, angels have fallen, and the mortal realm of Sanctuary has once again been saved from the brink of despair. As Nephalem, your accomplishments are innumerable. You’ve saved a village from the risen dead, laid to rest the tortured soul of a dishonored king, solved the mystery of the Fallen Star, avenged the death of a powerful Horadrim, unlocked the secrets of the Black Soulstone, cast Belial from his throne of deceit, stopped a demonic invasion almost single-handedly, restored Hope, and vanquished the Prime Evil, preserving the sanctity of the High Heavens and ushering in a new age for the world as we know it.
But have you ever wondered how your deeds measure up in the real world? To showcase the strength of the Diablo III community and how awesome you all are, we've put together some interesting statistics.
How many heroes have been created? How many demons have been slaughtered in pursuit of treasure? And just how many times has the Lord of TERROAR Terror been killed? Find out below!

I wonder how many people still play, but complain about how they never will play again, and how the game is the worst thing ever made, how terrible Blizzard is, etc... despite the fact that they follow fan sites, game news, and post on forums continuously. But they don't play anymore. And when they do (not)play, they certainly don't enjoy it.
They have said a couple of times that ther are like 1.5-2 mil active players. And if u actually stay on the AH all day and flip items all day the amount of items constantly being posted is pretty high. so I would say they are pretty right.Plus I think those numbers pretty good for a RPG that basically all u do is kill monsters. I mean look at WoW ( obviously another genre) it has 8.3 million users and it has so much to do + community and shit.
I found this read pretty funny.Tho this kinda of hype stuff wont really bring back people or smth.Haters will be haters, people who like the game will like the game, especially now that they really have startted to listen to the community a lot more.
They should have put character deaths per hour/min

"Hey, I thought you'd like the witty irony of grub-on-glowie violence!"
Let's assume everyone bought a boxed version, I wonder how far all the boxes would stretch end-to-end?
If demon teeth each weighed 0.1lbs, and demons had an average of 50 teeth, how many tonnes of teeth could we collect from slain demons?
If the average loot item weighs 5lbs, how many tonnes of loot have been collected and how many times does this exceed the estimated weight of the Earth?
If the world of Sanctuary is actually to scale, and assuming a Barbarian is 6' tall, how many kilometres have all the adventurers run in their demon-slaying exploits?
Assuming every potion is 0.5litres, how many oceans of potions have Sanctuary's adventurers quaffed?
lol only 18% are even doing all the new stuff they added
18% of CHARACTERS cleared hell. This means almost everybody can do the new stuff since people have (on average) 4.63 characters. This means 83.34% of people have access to inferno (obviously this makes certain assumptions, but it is definitely way higher than 18%).

Um... if 18% of characters cleared Hell and players have an average of 4.63 characters...
I think you have that calculation in reverse.
Of course I'm incredibly sleep deprived and can be talking nonsense. But meh!
