Inspiring Presence sounds way too powerful now. 4% of your max life per second for your entire party? That on top of whatever regen abilities the others in the party might have, that's insane.
Oh pitiful shadow lost in the darkness,
Bringing torment and pain to others.
Your damned soul wallowing in your sin.
    Perhaps...

    it is time to die.

The amount they are patching is actually quite fast.

2 Patches to PTR in the same week.

It must be a record! 1.0.6 had just 3 lines of change that took several months to implement.

    I second that

You only need to exceed 31000 HP (which isnt hard to achieve) and the 4% life per second will be better than any other life reg in the game.
Another buff to barbs that already scales the best.
I know PVP isnt that big atm but say a Barb has 150k hp. Thats 6000 HP per second aka one Mythic Health Potion every 2 seconds.

That's just sick. The 1% life regen was already good when I beat Inferno on HC way back. Then they changed to 2% and I thought 'okay no one will die now' and now it's 4% for the whole party! So yeah, barb and cc wiz are now the strongest party buffers by far, using their SOLO builds. The other classes can't compete for shit and they aren't exactly stronger solo either.

EDIT: I have 65k life with my DH. That's 2600 life/s with the barb buff. Even if I tried to get life regen on every single item I would probably just barely get that amount. Look at the Brooding passive, and it will be buffed to 2% life regen for only YOURSELF. Simply put, blizz needs to balance other things better if they decide to give such a massive buff to a single skill. Especially if it's always active for all party members.

Nice on the Blazing Guardian's damage reduction but WOW on the life regen stuff, especially to Barbarians. O_O I mean, pretty much 240% total life regen over a period of one minute coupled with the fact that War Cry: Impunity is one of the most - if not the most - popular shout for Barbs to use and that's already a big defense boost and fury generator...oh wait! Battle Rage as well...well that's pretty much standard for any Barbarian thanks to the 'Into the Fray' rune for Fury generation. Not only that, but Barbs usually run Weapons Master and Ruthlessness as passives and third one is a toss up between things like Bloodthirst, Superstition, or Tough as Nails (I think those, could be wrong) so now this will pretty much make it a lot easier to pick up this passive. I mean, I am not complaining since I have a WW Barb myself but at the same time it's making me think: "Geez...my poor Demon Hunter that I first started off with...this is just making him look meeker and meeker and WW Barb is going to become an easier more power out of control 18-Wheeler!" :P

All right...too much rambling...as much as this change sounds good, this is really making Barbs even better than they already are compared to other classes in terms of party members or just soling. I know someone will probably plug and chug the math later on, but this passive could potentially help Barbs with not needing as much Life Steal as some like to pack on for survival. Again, with the BR-ITF rune and the 2 minute duration...this is pretty much a 'permanent' 4% life regen at all times for them (I know it's not permanent, but considering how often WW Barbs in this case spam BR, it might as well be).

I think half these people here have never played a barb and if it you have its never been inferno. I used Inspiring Presence for awhile
never did i think it was OP. Barbs allways had to use dodgey mechanics to stay alive. ( Exp : Crushing ADV , X2 WW , Revenge )

Skills you HAD to use to stay alive. BT was mandatory in a game where nothing should be mandatory. 4% now makes me feel like a can make other builds and have decent survivability. Besides 4% per sec is not going to save you if you get a bad pull on elites or if your trying to faceroll MP10 on Muiltplayer. Its great to see Inspiring Presence made viable again.

Also dont forget that in order to use Inspiring Presence you have to give up BT. Thats 3% Life steal. So you going to take a hit picking this passive so 4% regen sounds like a good counter. About the barbs with 150k hp. You guys are talking about them dudes thats have like 90K dps that will never see MP10 cause of bad damage right?

I think YOU have NEVER played another class ,,,as what ppl have been pointing out is that barbs in now way need a buff of any sort to top it of everyone got a life reg buff but some how barbs got the BEST buffs by far out of everyone for no reason.

Edit: ppl have bad damage becuase they have high hp? ever heard of good gear?

barbs got the BEST buffs by far out of everyone for no reason.

I wasn't aware that 4% HP/sec, 20% armor, and 20% resist all was even in the same realm of awesomeness as Overawe is. Hell, even WDs have a ridiculously-strong DPS buff. To say that Inspiring Presence + Warcry + Impunity is the "best" buff is severely... stupid.

It's good that Barbs get a solid defensive group buff. It's certainly better than Mantra of Healing, but it's hardly the absolute best buff in the game. Frankly, I think they should encourage people to bring synergies to groups anyway. Sacrifice a little personal DPS for a very large group survivability buff, or a very big DPS buff.

I know I typically don't run BBV on my WD, but every time I'm in a group I switch it in for something.

Oh no! You have to get rid oft BT. But wait you can still choose a mighty belt with Life Steal as Barb. Well you use witching hour for end game gear? Hm, seems as if you have to need 2 Life steal weapons like a monk if you are struggling with ehp or you already have so much dps and ehp that you only need one ll weapon....

I wasn't aware that 4% HP/sec, 20% armor, and 20% resist all was even in the same realm of awesomeness as Overawe is. Hell, even WDs have a ridiculously-strong DPS buff.

Thats like comparing apples vs bananas vs oranges. Remember back in the days where barbs granted 50% more resistance with their shout. It was almost mandatory to have a barb in HC for later acts in the group. Well it was reduced to 20% but what struggles many people is that barb is with no doubt the best class atm and again (if nothing changes) they also get the best regeneration spell in the game.
And concerning Overawe. It is the only good dps buff from all mantras and runes of a monk for the group.
The DPS buff from WD has a long cooldown, works only in a certain area and dont last very long.
Barbs may not have such good dps buffs for group like other classes but they have the best dmg buffs in game to push their own dmg.
You cant have everything or can you?

Well maybe Jay Wilson will double it for barbs xD

    Passive Skills

Would be nice to get a range increase on the heal as well, it's awkward to use - especially with lag.
