People seem to think that RMAH is good profit for blizzard due to the 1USD or 1 EUR fee for every transaction on items. But where I think another large chunk of the profit lies, is with people buying multiple accounts and botting on some or all of them.
Blizzard then bans the botting accounts, and the botters buys another set of new accounts, and the circle continues. In other words, good business for Blizzard.
And what is this thing about having holiday events in games? I guess the suggestion/request comes from Annual pass holders who got the Diablo 3 copy for free and wanting the game to be exactly like World of Warcraft.
I think the NV is working fine but they should double or something the xp bonuses for MP 5+ becouse it's not worth it. I rem in d2 when I was running mp 8 alone I could get lvl 80- 90 very very fast. IT should be something like that.
Fact is botting will always be a big business in games like this, and accounts being banned will probably be a calculated risk by the people who employ hundreds of bots to farm gold/items. These people just buy new accounts and continue on their merry way, generating more revenue for Blizzard. I highly doubt Blizzard cares too much about botters to be perfectly honest.
As a casual player and even though i'm able to do MP6-7 neatly with my barbarian, i still haven't gathered all the organ pieces to craft a hellfire ring yet, but i'd still like to see new content even though i'm behind. Monster power seems fine to me. And congrats for banning some botters, hopefully i'll have less randm friend requests for a few months. Also i do believe the experience gained from higher monster powers seems low, but i guess Paragon levels aren't meant to be shot through so fast.
