Wonder what they're planning to do to make short games worthwhile. Doubt they're going Pindleskin direction again. I suspect something along the lines of making the first 5 elite packs drop a bonus/better loot. Hopefully I'm wrong and it's something amazing new and creative.
Unless they ban more regularly, it barely hurts the real botters. The casual ones that just do it because they're bored won't come back and barely affect the economy ... the serious ones have tons of accounts and make a shitton of money off the RMAH, enough to quickly buy more accounts to bot. I have no idea how they can fix that, but I sure would love it if they did!
As always they are slowly but surely nailing every issue with D3, even if it's not in the order everybody would prefer.
Just a proportional XP increase in higher MP would make my Happy cup full. In the meantime, let's get to farming those new bots Gold Find gear shall we ?
I guess I should log in now and see how many of my friends will no longer be able to log in since they were banned lol. Glad they announced this most recent wave tho, I haven't been keeping up.
I wouldn't hold my breath on that. Reverse engineering in thinking what means to ban botters, and how it impacts RMAH and B.net Balance, make me take that not with a grain, but with a lot of salt.
So happy about the ban wave you can't even imagine, even if it will be kind of useless anyway.
At least it gives me the illusion that those bastards won't have an easy time.
Anyway, even happier to hear of the no holiday events (I don't think it fits D3) and more importantly the fact that they have in the radar to fix MPs and mob density, I'm afraid to say I'm tired of farming.
Good work Blizzard, banning those idiotic botters!
Ive seen people who have been botting on other games, such as Sc2 be banned and no notice been made, so keep up le good work
People seem to think that RMAH is good profit for blizzard due to the 1USD or 1 EUR fee for every transaction on items. But where I think another large chunk of the profit lies, is with people buying multiple accounts and botting on some or all of them.
Blizzard then bans the botting accounts, and the botters buys another set of new accounts, and the circle continues. In other words, good business for Blizzard.
And what is this thing about having holiday events in games? I guess the suggestion/request comes from Annual pass holders who got the Diablo 3 copy for free and wanting the game to be exactly like World of Warcraft.

I'd run the whole game again!

And yeah, key plx
And why dont they just change NV to remove only 1 stack for skill change?
