Bashiokrecently commented on the Diablo III "Moon" physics and how our heroes affect the physics system. It was also noted that the Barbarian, being ridiculously strong, would have the most outrageous physics, and rightly so. Blizzard wants us to feel like we're these super-human Gods with amazing powers.
Works perfectly.
Way too over the top.
More Moon physics!
Needs more blood.
Is there gravity in Sanctuary?
In our previous poll, we wanted to know what you thought about the randomization in Diablo III and the majority of you said that it was perfect as is!
If you missed the twenty-eighth episode, you can check it out here. Otherwise, the twenty-ninth episode covered the following topics:
What's this about Diablo being a girl? If you're referring to the theory that Leah will be corrupted and turned into the Diablo we see in this game, you didn't say anything about it on the topic list for the cast D:
I like the moon physics as it is. I like the way you'll feel empowered once you club a group of the skeletons' bones all over the place, and the demons into trees, off cliffs (if that's possible) or splatter them against the wall.
What I do feel needs to be addressed (really not that big a deal, but if there's anything that needs to be addressed to make it perfect) is, as someone pointed out in a post, that the bodies should have more friction. It shouldn't look like the bodies are sliding on the ground as if they were on ice. Also the hangtime when struck into the air. Kinda remind me of Titan Quest when you go back to an easier difficulty and pound the shit out of the monsters and send them flying over mountain tops and such.
The poll options are horribly horrible. Where's the "Tone them down a bit" option? I think that's would be the most popular. "Way too over the top" is too critical.

I agree. I was looking for a "Tone them down a bit" type of option, but had to settle for "Way too over the top". However, it's not exactly my meaning, because it sounds a bit harsh.
As I played Diablo 2, the need for ragdoll effects never crossed my mind.
Blood and gore was what Diablo 2 did best. Especially from the cinematics of Baal.
If you love resistance 3, you'd love the idea of "more blood."
I think it's too over the top. I'm not asking for real physics, but I don't think enemies should literally fly out of the screen as shown in that video by Force. Half or 1/3 normal gravity is okay, but 1/6 (moon) is too much.
I fought long and hard, and although it was a bloody battle I eventually lost out in what title to pick.
You are right however, the title is a reference to the popular lore theory that Leah will somehow be possessed by Diablo. We talk about it during the cast.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

Caption contest tomorrow.
I think.
Good listen.
