Did anyone else see the name of the Indigo rune together with the wizard's skill Blizzard?
Stark Winter
Indigo Runestone
Increase the size of the Blizzard to cover 22 yards, and deal 136-188 Cold damage per second.
For those who don't understand, Stark is a family which the story revolves around in "The Land of Fire and Ice" (book(s)) and Game of Thrones (tv series).
Stark also just means "sheer, utter, downright or complete" along with "harsh, grim, or desolate." Although I did actually have that same thought. And its A Song of Ice and Fire. Corrections aside, I would love it if it was actually an intentional easter egg, seeing as I love that show.

Ahem, those books B);)
Anyway, about the 'guns' I don't think I have a problem with it but some one will. As to where it is mentions, its under the key features heading on the right quick aside that sums up the class.

If that made sense to you, Bravo! I think I even confused myself...
I would bet (and hope) that its either someone making a typo after seeing 'pistol crossbows' or that its referring to active skills the DH has, like Rapid Fire. Ideally we'll get a blue post on the matter soon.
Also, I feel like, if they are in the game, they would be DH specific, and would therefore be mentioned in the DH's Unique Equipment section.
Apologies if this has been brought up already but there seems to have been a change to the Nephalem cube graphic on the D3 community site according to this article: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/game/whats-new
Is this an earlier graphic, a replacement to avoid confusion, or a mistake?
I'm laughing to all the people in their face who started threads (here or d3 community forum) that there will be less build from the current system. Well, few hours after the release of the calculator, there's already tons of different builds made according to each and every one's play style.

I love all loot fest kind of game! I will be playing all of them for the next few years. Loot fest games I'm looking forward to: LotR: War in the North,Torchlight 2,Borderlands 2 and of course Diablo 3.
nice update...but what the hell is a signature skill??passive/offensive/defensive/utility is ok we all may understand it.
also in the past we can practically select(make the hero know) all skills does this apply to d3???i mean can we have all 4 sigg skill for a class??all the offensive/defensive ones??
The Monk and WD need some love then. How can it be so that other classes have DOUBLE their potential builds. Even if the number is really high, it should be about even.
Oh and, screw everyone that said there was little customization! I took a quick tour on the barbarian skills and I'm overwhelmed by the amount of possible combo's im going to try on him!!! PLUS you can optimize your gear per build..
Oh wawu, they made me even more anxious for the release :<

The little boat gently drifted across the pond exactly the way a bowling ball wouldn’t...
I think the wording on the hardcore part means that you just can't give softcore items to hardcore characters and vice versa; this would obviously break hardcore as all the work to get items for hardcore could be done with softcore characters. Hardcore items would also likely be more expensive in the hardcore auction house, so players could break the hardcore economy by fetching items in the softcore (cheaper) auction house and give them to their hardcore characters.
Although I do see reason to believe that the last sentence alludes to hardcore-only items, I think that the intended message is what I stated in the previous paragraph. I don't see the need for anything like vanity items for hardcore accomplishments because we have an achievement system for that.
1. Yes but also debatable. For example the Wizard's Magic Missile (Lvl1) vs Blizzard spell (L26). Is Blizzard better? Sure but you can't spam it like you can with Magic Missile. And if you take the correct passives, MM will even generate AP for you so you can almost spam Blizzard. That's the fun part of the new Active/passive/Rune system.
2. Yes. Magic Missile at level 1 does NOT do 40-61 dmg like it does at level 60. And yes, you get tired of using Magic Missile and just found an awesome weapon that does crazy dmg, switch out your skills to Spectral Blade and now you're a melee wizard.
3. I've heard many different versions on this, but there is no Official word on this. Runes are swappable but not sure if once socketed, are they only for that specific skill. Meaning you can swap runes, but what happens to the rune that just got taken out is unclear.
Toad of Hugeness...seriously Blizzard....hopefully it's just a Beta name
That is the greatest name for a skill ever. I saw it and could not stop laughing.
If they change it, I will be extremely upset.
I agree I love that name! I reckon it's something a witch doctor might say.

May the heroes rise from the pit of despair and the bards sing of the day of death renewed to everlasting immortality....awaiting your return to the lands of Sanctuary may peace be with you on this day...your day of birth.
Now this is what I'm talking about. I just hope from now until the time of the release people have not already found the combinations everyone will using...

I guess you're right.

Active Combo * # of Runes * Passive Combo = number of potential builds
Barbarian (22c6)*5 * (15c3) = (74,913)*5 * 455 = 170,427,075
Demon Hunter (23c6)*5 * (13c3) = (100,947)*5 * 286 = 144,354,210
Monk (21c6)*5 * (13c3) = (54,264)*5 * 286 = 77,597,520
Witch Doctor (22c6)*5 * (12c3) = (74,613)*5 * 220 = 82,074,300
Wizard (25c6)*5 * (12c3) = (177,100)*5 * 220 = 194,810,000
Total = 669,263,105 different possible builds
(803,115,726 if including un-runed skills)
Happy for my maths to be ripped apart
