So, I think you can only do this on one account per computer, which is a shame because I accidentally updated the wrong account first. Oh, and there's nothing sinister going on here. My first account was hacked for a long time and I had trouble getting access back from Blizzard so I had to start a second to get SC2. But since I have them...
Anyway, if you try to download the client on a second account for the same computer you get a 403: Forbidden error. I might be wrong on the cause, but I can download it just fine on one account (the first one that I've already updated) but always get the error on the second.
I have multiple B.net accounts because I had multiple D2 CD Keys. It let me update both of my accounts on the old client, but I dont know if they have changed it with this new client. I will have to find out when I go to update it this afternoon when I get home from work...

I understand that everyone is excited about the Beta, and granted, I am definitely one of them; however, I believe that a lot people are over estimating their chances of receiving a beta key...though it will be nice to watch videos every day from the few that get one. Hopefully they are from the DiabloFans community! Good luck everyone, because you are going to need it!
Considering they're trying to stress test the servers and the fact that the beta is a relatively small package I wouldn't be surprised if people have a better-than-average chance of getting in. You're right, though, that it will be good to have more content information and videos even if I don't get to play.
I updated my specs as well. Although with all the fuss going on about the beta one would think that the release is at hand, but knowing Blizzard they can release it on Sept 30th. I pray to God this is not the case.
Also, does anyone know how many systems do they have left to reveal? And when? Anything mentioned at the Blizz media event?
While everybody here get very excited about hoping to participate, I'm starting to feel very scared that I won't make the cut. I'm saving all my vacation days, hoping to get in and satisfy my 8 year hunger for this game.
Best of luck to all of you guys. Please create some high res video reviews, so that the ones that stick behind can pretend to be playing while watching it

Well, the only bit of news we have heard regarding the number of beta keys was, I believe, at last years BlizzCon. They promised at least 1,000 Dibalo 3 beta keys, which is obviously a drop in the bucket compared to the sheer numbers applying. So, hopefully we get a lot more than that...One can only hope...

Anybody running OSX 10.7 (Lion) have any luck using the software that uploads your system specs to Blizzard/Battle.net? The app just crashes every time, and I've tried all the simple troubleshooting steps (restart, download app again, closing all other programs, disable firewall, etc).

Iknow your problem mate, you're running OSX 10.7... fnizz ^^;
10.4 is fine. It worked on Battle.net! However when I tryed it on my PC it got erased and replaced. Mac is my travelcomputer, no big deal. My PC is the gamemachine here.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I was able to update both of my accounts with the same computer, so I am not sure why you are getting an error. Maybe keep trying? Good luck!

I hope the non-standard memory size of my Geforce GTX 260 (896MB) may put me with better chances due to the different hardware.
But it detected 2.69 GB anyway, I don't know if they will be able to see the real size through this bug.
Eh.. doubt it. Think they'll look at models - not numbers.
I mean, in the case of cpu's, there's 2ghz pentium 4 and 2ghz sandy bridge quad cores...
Atleast in my case I have a pretty non-standard cpu. AMD Phenom II X4 B55, which was never officially produced as its an unlocked (cores) Phenom II X2 555.
