And finally, BlizzCon 2010 has been officially announced. Seems like the leak back in February is correct, it will be in Anaheim California (not Las Vegas!) on October 22nd and 23rd. This also means that we'll be seeing Jay Mohr there one of the nights performing. With that in mind, SC2 should be released by then, which means there will be D3 booths and Cataclysm booths. I'm expecting the announcement of their unannounced MMO, perhaps. As of now, ticket sales have not yet been announced. Usually for October 'Cons, they're in June/July, so stay tuned.
Anyone going? ;).

If you've been holding your breath waiting to find out when and where the next BlizzCon would be held, then... you've probably passed out by now. But if you've just been patiently watching for an announcement, then we've got good news for you: BlizzCon will be returning to the Anaheim Convention Center on Friday, October 22 through Saturday, October 23! Just as in years past, BlizzCon 2010 will feature an exciting mix of discussion panels, tournaments, hands-on gameplay, contests, and much more. Check out the announcement press release, and keep an eye on www.blizzcon.com in the months ahead for further details, including ticketing information.
Just like last year I am going to try to go again *crosses fingers* hopefully the ticket system will work a lot better this year and I can snag a pair of tickets for myself and my brother.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

No doubt. I lol'd when I saw someone walking around with a T-Shirt of the SCV picture.
Blizzcon is seriously the biggest possible waste of money ever. Lets spend $100 a ticket + flight + lodging + food just to get news on blizzard games (which you get online during and after the event) and to play demos (which change drastically by release anyways).....

Try to be a little more positive and not ruin the experience for those that want to attend. :|
I think I may finally go this year, especially with Anaheim only like a 20 min. drive max from my place, hehe.
And there are ways to recoup on the $100 bucks...

Don't they normally announce release dates at the BlizzCon nowadays? If so I think they'll announce Cata and SC2 for a December/ November release during the BlizzCon.
YAY! when do the contests for tickets start becuase honostly.. that is my only chance of going, allbeit a very small chance, but a chance none the less.

Sweet!!! Hopefully the fifth class will be announced!
I see why you say that because it would be cool but i kinda want them to wait until the game actually comes out. It'd spice the release up more. But either or would be fine by me.
Oh and Blizzcon 2010 <3

I went outside once. The graphics were good but the gameplay sucked.

I cannot wait though!!!!
You really think SC2 will be released by then? What is Blizzard's history in regards to how far in advance they announce a release date?

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm still hoping to see a really cool version of that ranged class.

Why can't they do it in Seattle? Plenty of good convention centers there, the weather's better, oh and it's not California. That's the best part.
