Do we get to keep our old battlenet user names? Or do we have to claim them again?
Depends on what game you'll want to play. If it's a legacy game, you'll use your old bnet account for now. For SC2/WoW/D3 right away, you'll be using the new bnet account. Though eventually, Blizzard plans on moving everything over to the new bnet account.
you think they will add achievements to D2 if they use the new battle.net for it?
I dunno about him, but I really hope so.
"But while Battle.net supported mods at a basic level, integration with tools and the mod community wasn’t where it needed to be for a game releasing in 2010."
Yeah, we kinda already knew, but that is nice to hear. They said that they were only releasing... Was it two or three major things? This year, anyway. Cataclysm and SCII were on that list, I *believe*. My memory is a tad shaky, it's posted somewhere...
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

One thing i would love in B.net 2.0 is a truely good support for SC2 player made maps. Like automatically add to people PC via patchs the most played maps or allows a option for me share my maps with other users without having to creat a room.
Maybe even a rank or official league of the very popular ones (like add to our profile " beated official XYZ TD in Hard mode").
I'm just a freak fan of WC3 custom maps and SC2 for me means a new map editor with more tools and possibilities. I can't wait to see the new "Impossible Bosses".
Battle.net is software and its uses and interface is entirely dependent on the game your playing on it. It's already been confirmed we won't see regular fees for Diablo III, although they've talked sparingly about "microtransactions."

Or... he actually stayed until the end of the second episode, and watched the preview for the 3rd. Busted Seth

Small enough to the point where you can't see them with the naked eye?

Nope, we haven't gotten any new information on them in months and the last bits we did have were very, very vague.
Good read Seth!
