Just a quick update today that some of you might be interested in. There's a contest running to win a Reactor brand computer worth over $6k. These computers use total liquid submersion cooling, so as you can imagine, this would be one hell of a nice setup to have when Diablo 3 & Starcraft 2 come out. Anywho, entering the contest is simple. Just go to the sign-up page and fill in your info and you'll be all set. Wish I could enter myself... I could definitely use a new computer at the moment. I tried submerging my desktop PC in liquid to cool it down and it shorted out all the circuits in my home and started smoking. And here I thought Kool-Aid was good for everything... pfft. Fortunately, the Reactor people know what they're doing when it comes to building a PC for hardcore gamers, so if you're the lucky winner, you won't have to deal with explaining to a tech support guy why your computer is now drenched in Blastin' Berry Cherry Twist Kool-Aid. Good luck to all of you who enter!

i first saw submerging the computer parts on youtube about a month ago. i couldnt believe it. but...they said to use vegitable oil. cause it was conductive. maybe the kool-aid was water based type. which they said wouldnt work. so that sucks about the power thing. but try vegitable oil lol. that might work. =D
*goes to sign up for this beast and when he wins is going to send it to mockery*

I personally can not see how this computer is equal to or more ten 6grand. I could build this for 3grand at the most. Im guessing your paying some money for the name and case ?
Of course you always pay outrageously more for name, case, and also the fact that they build it and ship it as one whole product not several. God bless Capitalism!
i saw a way to do this with a normal computer. i cant remember all of the stuff you needed. but basically was a computer in a fish tank filled with vegitable oil. lol. but this is a much nicer....mobile computer. lol.
honestly, this is a crappy computer. my pc is like twice that, and its air/liquid. i have 3 PCs just like the one im on, 7 fan with rubber/plastic gel cool. i built each one for 1.5k..... 2 graphics cards in each, quad core processors, 16 gigs ram.... this PC aint that good.

Im guessing its only DDr2 ram then? I know 4gb ddr3 ranges 200-400$ 6gb is 250-400$ and I haven't seen 8gb ram so...
Interesting computer...I saw it in my Maximum PC a while back...I agree is a bit expensive, but hell if I can enter and win one for free; why not. Add to the one I'm building.
