In a recent interview with Eurogamer, Blizzard's president of game design Rob Pardo gave console owners a tiny sliver of hope that Diablo III could find its way onto their systems:
"I think it's theoretically possible. It would have some control changes that I think you'd have to make... But it's probably, of our major franchises, the one that's most console friendly, for sure. You'd need to think about a lot of the point-and-click spells, like point to area-of-effect, or things like line-damage in this direction. Target selection is something you're going to lose on console, you're really going to be able to do targeting direction, but not specific targeting. Out of StarCraft, Warcraft or WOW, Diablo would be the easiest game to translate. But it would still take a bit of work."
Now before you console owners get all excited, keep in mind that Blizzard has stated that they have no plans for console development and that Diablo III would be a PC and Mac exclusive. Still, it'd be interesting to see how Diablo would work on a console.
I'm sure some of you remember trying Diablo on the original Playstation system. It didn't look or play nearly as well as the PC version, but consoles have come a long way since then. So what do you think? Would you like to see Diablo III released on consoles as well or should it remain a PC/Mac exclusive?
NO!!! Stay away from consoles Blizzard! We are computer game fans, not pay to play 360 and PS3 suck ups.

What is normal? Normal is a concept that everyone or a majority of people are the same or similar. However, we know that everyone is unique. If everyone is unique, then everyone is different. If everyone is different, then everyone is weird. If everyone is weird, then everyone is normal.
If they're too difficult for you then don't get it for a console and let it be. As for console owners like me who do not want to buy a new computer for the game, I'm banking on this.
The Wii would probably be the best suited console for the game, what with the Wiimote controller 'n all, but the Xbox 360 or PS3 would be the only ones that I think could do justice to Diablo's graphics.

Don't bank on it. Like I said, Blizzard has already stated that this will be a PC/Mac exclusive.
If anything it would be best suited for Wii or PS3. ps3 has good keyboard and mouse support, and the wiimote rocks. all they need to do is have a button addon for wiimote for more hotkeys.
I don't care if it comes on consoles, as long as they don't delay the PC version and keep it as a primary priority
Yeah, my thoughts, too, since Blizzard has always been a major PC gaming company, and not a console one. But still, I would like to not have to buy a new PC.

If they did release it on a console, I can't imagine it would delay the PC version. Their previous console games ("Diablo" on the PS1 and "Starcraft 64" on the N64) came long after the PC versions were released. So yeah, no worries there.
id rather have the pc verison pc verison would be way better then the console but if it does come out for a console i dont really care i got the ps3 but i also got a very good high end computer so i dont care what it comes out for lol
Why not just make something close to a straight port? Grab a USB mouse and USB keyboard and you are good to go for a console version... The wii has plenty of games that require the purchase of additional products, I don't think people would mind that much, at least fora ps3 port, if they needed a keyboard and mouse to play. I think it would also open that idea for even more games afterward.
Consoles are basically computer at this point anyways, why not bring the games over? Imagine playing it on a GIGANTIC HD tv in your living room. I'd love it.

Ha ha, my 37" LCD came WITH a VGA port in back so I AM playing Diablo 1/2 in my living room! I also have a Microsoft wireless desktop that I sit on a wooden panel across my lap so I play from the comfort of my reclining sofa. I love it. I'll never go back to sitting at a desk in front of a monitor. Throw in a full sized Dolby 5.1 setup (not some lame htib) and it's Diablo like you've never seen/heard it. Diablo 1 on the playstation wasn't bad at all, I thought it worked well when I played it. But the new game obviously needs many more hotkeys for skills but I'm sure it can be done, and I wouldn't mind it, tho it'll be the pc version for me.
diablo1 was on ps1 but was published by different company but theirs still a possibility i wouldnt mind cause i have all systems but ps3 well i own wii and bro owns 360 but i think it would best suit comp then wii then 360 then ps3 i would personally get pc version then own the console peeps lol!:D
Couldn't pay me money to buy that game... I don't think it would translate well.

I hope it doesn't come to consoles, it will tarnish the game.
ESPECIALLY if they decided to let console players interact with computer players via battle.net.
