Sideshow Collectibles and Blizzard Entertainment are proud to introduce the Diablo III Collectible series with this epic first release. The Barbarian Statue depicts the warrior class in fine form, wielding dual-axes in the heat of battle. Each piece is hand-cast in high quality polystone, individually finished and hand-painted to exacting standards, complete with individually assigned edition numbers on the bottom side of the base. Don't miss this opportunity to begin your Diablo III collection with the limited edition Barbarian Statue.
There will be two editions: The normal one and the Exclusive. The Sideshow Exclusive version of the Diablo III Overthrown Polystone Diorama includes a unique feature available nowhere else: Interchangeable helmeted head for alternate display!
Within the world of Sanctuary in the Kingdom of Khanduras, barbarians are an ancient class of legendary warriors. Barbarians are known for their immense size, relentless fury and two-weapon fighting techniques and dwell upon their sacred Mount Arreat. Though once misunderstood to be simple and aggressive invaders, they are a noble, proud people, upholding great tradition - protecting Mount Arreat and the mysterious artifact it holds.

this looks awesome, i'm a great fan of action figures and i'm a great fan of Diablo too, when these two things get place together, i... have no words to describe!
Long, long time Diablo fan; short, short time with DiabloFans. USEast D2 Ladder/1.13 Beta: Accnt = ChezPizmo USEast WCIII Ladder: Accnt = TeeheeSprinkles A cool, unrelated video; "Dude Bids 420 on Price is Right" ("420, Bob") "I'm nasty, I'm old and a little bit ornery; I look like Patrick Stewart and sound like Sean Connery." Patch 1.13 = (click here)
I think our Barb might be standing on big D's head. ^^

"Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather."
for the set with the interchangeable head it's 300 bucks. The people getting this are the ones that can afford 15$ a month games, and few of them care enough about diablo to pay that
those pics to me show a definite confirmation of big D's face

It's so beautiful- not only in looks but what it represents for Diablo's future. Can't tell you how long I've looked at those WoW advertisements for memorabilia on Battle.net playing Diablo or on the Blizzard site and hoped that this would finally happen

This just gave me an idea...what if the barbarian made a helmet out of Diablo's skull? That would be SWEET if it was an actual helmet in D3. And I wouldn't limit this idea to the youngest prime evil alone...;)
Looks pretty sweet, but come on 300 bucks U.S!! even though the u.s dollar has taken a dive lately.. it's still too much.. even though I could afford to get one and it would look pretty cool on the corner desk here... I still don't think it's worth that much, I'd pay 150 tops.
I would really like to have the exclusive collection of figures. They would look awesome standing among all the dragons, wizards, cats, faeries, eagles, swords, and daggers that glow, or glisten, or cast shadows in the late evening candlelight while sipping on a snifter of tawny port and puffing pensively on a peach cigar - just chillin' in the quiet with Alain Morrisod.
I've been waiting for something like this for quite some time. Too bad I can't afford it...
I was never able to clarify whether the price was for the barbarian only, or for the entire diorama. I got the sense, however, that it was for the one piece, making the price rather ridiculous, to say the least.
Not really worth 300 unless it was a very limited number of prints. I could sculpt a barb in zbrush. Then exported into an obj and send it to my friend who has a company that converts 3d into cast polystone.
I think it looks cool, but doubt I could/ or would drop $300 bucks on it. Even if I did the wife would probably have me take it down or the kid would break it.
I've been collecting high end statues for a long time and this was one of the most impressive statues at Comic-Con (helps that I played Diablo 2 non stop as well). I ordered one, but not sure if I will ultimately keep it, because that's still a lot of money.
I WILL say this-- if you are somewhat on the fence, and have never ordered from Sideshow (makers of this statue) before, ORDER it now before the 'exclusive' version sells out. Else you will miss out on the alternate head/helm. They have a very very liberal cancellation policy, and you will not charged before it ships. You can cancel it any time until then with no penalty.

I would like to order one but only if I like the way it is colored.
