way to go completely off topic guys
oh and on topic - nothing new has popped up that i am aware of
He's right. This thread should be about Diablo 3.
Oh, did you hear about Star Trek XI? J.J. Abrams (the guy who directed Lost) is directing it! YAY!!!

What is normal? Normal is a concept that everyone or a majority of people are the same or similar. However, we know that everyone is unique. If everyone is unique, then everyone is different. If everyone is different, then everyone is weird. If everyone is weird, then everyone is normal.
i think that just then was a bit of mod-mockery on steel's part.
anyway, the realisation of Diablo III actually becoming reality is... strange. like, i never really thought it could actually happen. you know, like christmas
well i watched 2 episodes.... fell asleep during first one at cousins house then the second one i wanted to see if i missed somthin interesting and then watched for like 4 minutes and decided... id rather run around my neighborhood naked in the middle of winter than watch that show... and btw starwars > star trek

Watching 240 guys talk trash about cavaliers is like two retards having a slapfight over a sippy cup.
i am still amazed, shocked, perplexed, and stupefied on...
why does everyone like Star Trek...or star wars...
I do like the original star wars, before the CG Jaba the Hutt. Now Star Trek, hmm, I do like the Borg, but other than that I never finished watching a single episode, let alone movie. I take it back, I did finish one movie, it was 1st Contact, I think.
I am more amazed, shocked, perplexed, and stupefied on...
why everyone likes Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter movies. Honestly, most of the lines in those movies are crap. Most of the lines in those movies are just something to bridge the gap between one "amazing" CG visual to the next.
And yeah, no new news, so that's why I kept it off topic.
I think people like star trek and star wars because they which to watch shows in which no shows has gone before or it could because they want to see space chicks. :cool:Bow Chicka Bow Wow
I really don't like harry potter movies, but I like the books and its the other way around for lord of the rings. I guess people just love to see the books characters come to life.
I realize that this has gotten completely off topic but, so here I go trying to keep it on track...
I've been looking over the Blizzard job postings and wondering... What is a 'next-generation mmo' anyways? Is it for the next-gen consoles? (really doubt it). Or will it simply have better graphics? Will Guild Wars 2 be considered a 'next-generation mmo'?
I figured this was the best place to put this, but if there's a better one let me know.

Blizzard said they have no plans to go to the console, and they mean it from what happened to Starcraft: Ghost - The Next Gen MMO is most likely for the PC.
Apparently Cracked.com has no faith in blizzard either lol Diablo III is perhaps the most obsessed-over game to never have its existence officially acknowledged. Numerous sites and message boards are dedicated exclusively to a game that's developing into a legend on par with Bigfoot or Richard Gere's poor gerbil.
How much ass would it have kicked?
The Diablo series is what happens when you let red-blooded, meat-eating Americans make a role-playing game. Gone are the androgynous heroes, talking raccoons and quests that revolve around retrieving used panties you find in Japanese RPGs, replaced instead with demon killing. Lots and lots demon killing. Besides Blizzard simply doesn't make bad games, producing literally nothing but genre-defining classics for the past decade plus.
So is there any chance it'll come out?
Unfortunately for Diablo enthusiasts Blizzard North, the division of the company devoted to the Diablo franchise, dissolved a few years back. Several Blizzard North employees subsequently formed their own company and started developing Hellgate: London, a game fans considered a spiritual successor to Diablo II right up until the moment it came out and they realized it was complete crap.
