So, as I was going through the regular monster pages, I found some that had incorrect or outright missing data in them: Tanted, Abominables etc. As I saw these pages, I remembered that in the past I had noticed this, but for one reason or another had forgotten about them in the months thereafter.
For this reason, I think we should use stub templates. Normally in a wiki these indicate articles that are too short to be of value, but given our different aim we can use them in a broader sense.
Template:Stub (we have old stub templates in the wiki, but they were all over the place and I've tried to phase them out to replace them with this one template).
We should place these on any pages we find that are missing info which we cannot fill out at the time. For example, doing some area pages and redirecting monster names, I found that some of the monsters did not have HP values for their respective Pandemonium Event versions. Since I had now wish to start calculating HP at that time and wanted to continue with the area pages, I just added a few Stubs to those, and they can now be found at Category:Monster Article Stubs.
This way, we'll be able to keep tack of articles that are missing information, and can come back to finish them up later.
Does it make sense, or should we do it some other way?
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
Yes. I'm not counting on the stubs section being cleared on a daily basis. Since it's mostly a category editors will be visiting, I figure it's easy and allows us select just what kind of stubs we want to fix atm.
