So now that I finally finished all the rune pages and outiftted them with the correct infoboxes, I was thinking on what next to work on.
Originally, I though it would be redundant to even bother with monster pages, since The Arreat Summit has nice info on all monsters in-game. However there are several improvements that can be made from the Arreat Summit pages that I've thought of.
1. Remove useless info
As we can see, there's quite a lot of info that no one really needs in the monster tables
- Experience
(Knowing how much Exp a mosnter gave was never relevant in Diablo II)
- Melee Attack 1&2
and
Atack Rating 1&2
and
- Defense
and
- % to Block
(Trivia knowledge that would take up lots of space for no reason when it is perfectly accessible on Arreat Summit.)
- Chill Effectiveness
(Cold is mostly useless on the higher difficulties no matter what the chill effectiveness is, unless it is constantly applied as per Holy Freeze etc.)
2. Lacks other info
Nowhere does it say in which regions the monsters spawn. There's nothing that says Warped Ones only spawn in Act 5, or that Gloams only appear in the Great Marsh in Act 3.
3. Superuniques are not on the same page
Once again, having as much relevant info gathered in one place as possible is always good, as it keeps users from jumping back and forth between pages and instead focuses all info for them. There's little reason to have an additional page for Corpsefire when he can be easily incorporated into the Zombie article where all of his other stats (Health and Resists mainly) could be easily overviewed.
If there's anything else you'd like to see add and/or change to my analysis, do notify me here. I will begin working on a template which can then be applied to all mosnters in Diablo II with ease.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

This is probably just me, but wouldn't it be better if we just added on to the information? We want our Wiki to be all-encompassing, right? So that any fan in the future can look up anything related to Diablo and find it in our Wiki. That's just my opinion.
Problem is, as I see it, that we'll get miles of info, which just makes everything harder to read and find. However I guess I could first tweak around and see if I can find a good solution to keep all info, and go from there.

Right now I have an idea for how to design the mosnter page, but I'm trying to figure out how to extract all mosnter animations from the game files to includde in our articles. Arreat Summit only containt pictures from one monster of each family, which isn't optimal. We should have a .gif for every type of skeleton (Returned, Bone, Horror etc.).

Alright. Let us know when you've found a good way to structure it. Personally I would rather have seperate pages for Superuniques, but thats just me.
Ok, then we need some filler content I believe. What then can we add? The only info about, for example, Corpsefire is basically:
Name: Corpsefire Type: Zombie Location: Den of Evil Special Atributes: Spectral Hit
That's what Arreat provides. I can, now that you mention it however, come up with a few more tidbits of info.
Companion Monsters: In the case of Corpsefire, and most Super Uniques, this is simply the same base mosnter, but some, like Blood Raven and Radament, have other spawns. That's worth mentioning.
More detailed location: Bishibosh spawns in a Carver Camp. While it's still randomly placed, it's worth noting.
Quest related: Naturally, it a quest is involved it needs to be mentioned
Special drops: The Countess, Andariel, Pindleskin. A few Super Uniques who have drops worth mentioning.

As far as each .gif goes, is there a way to get them straight out of the game or a place we can find each and every one of them? We need someone to compile all of them and upload all of them with standard naming conventions. Or whoever is typing up the single article could just do it. Is there a way to do batch uploads?

Yeah there is, I figured out how to do it today. Documentation was scarce, but with some searching it turned out very good. I can write up a guide on it come to think of it, spares me of having to upload every monster and character from the game myself

Edit: Dauroth, I noticed you haven't touched your profile page. I would encourage you to fix it up.
Indeed. It definately looks better if you have a short page as an active user over there.

You are talking about multiple uploads? If you can give me some directions, I can start with my own database on my desktop (same as Arreat basically), but depending on what's easier (taken from website or from computer) we can just do that.

Multiple uploads I have no idea how to do, we're still stuck with that.

It has conditional columns, so if we add an article on Zombies, it will expand to include all 5 species of zombies.
It's a lot of info to add however if it is to be manually copied over from Arreat Summit, so before you all go haywire with this mastodont task, I may soon have an automatic solution, which will save us a lot of work.

The monster template is intended to include all color versions of the monsters, meaning not just Zombies, but Hungry Dead, Ghouls, Plague Bearers and Drowned Carcasses as well

Also, excellent rune pages! I didn't know you finished them.
Yeah the rune pages are fixed. The individual runeword pages still need to be shaped up however, and possibly a compilation page which, similar to Ferr3t's thread, sorts runewords based after Weapon/Torso/Shielf/Helm.

*One page for monster 'directory'
*Which leads to pages of categorized monsters, by act or other way
*Which leads to direct pages of the monster
And Superuniques should get their own pages as well.

You have any other suggestions?
And this thread should help: http://www.diablofans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1761
As for batch uploads, Ctrl doesn't work, and neither does dragging your mouse.
Unless there is a different way.

I've completed the Monster data template for use within mosnter articles, viewable here

Do provide feedback on the design however.
BTW, as I said earlier, I have all the monster gifs saved to my computer, so when the time comes, I'll upload them (for ease).
