The above is the correct damage calculation, but the displayed damage in the calculator is a constant 12-66, regardless of what spell level or magic amount you input
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

Also, when I hover on the skill icons, the main content isn't changed, it always remains at the index. I'm guessing it works for you, maybe it's a bug with the new Firefox 4.

Ok now I feel really stupid, because the formula in my first post is for firebolt. So ignore that one.
However, the damage listed... ok I have no fucking idea whatever damage this will end up in. Rnd [10] means a random number between 0 and 9, but that sure as hell doesn't add up to the listed min/max damage (which comes from Jarulf's guide and must be considered correct. Somehow). Even if we assume that the min and max damage comes from adding together all the damage that the flames can cause, it still doesn't make any sense.
Just leave it as is, because I have no idea what's going on.

Haha, yea I have no clue either about those "Real damage" and Rnd stuff... I'm having a bit of a hard time following Jarulf's guide since my english isn't perfect.
At least, as far as I understand, that formula is the one used to display the damage in-game, so it should be equivalent.

It works when you select a class, but not before then.
Was just wondering if it did the same for you, but I guess I forgot I had to select a class XD
Min. Damage:
Max. Damage:
Though I just noticed there's this formula too:
Real Damage:
If you are positive about your formula, let me know and I'll use it.
Also, what is the Rnd[10]?
