The Making of Diablo 3 Overthrown Polystone Diorama Media Update

Sideshow Collectibles shows off the making of the Diablo 3 OVERTHROWN polystone diorama with 37 images to demonstrate the process of developing each sculpture from scratch. Shit, that's a great statue!.. I would love to have one ;o But it's a little bit expensive + cost of dispatch.

Maybe someday Coz that's really awesome.

I don't understand something... How come that the statue is up for public sale? How come there are enough statues to anyone who orders? If it was hand made by an artist... how can the 'artist' make enough statues for everyone? If he gets 500 orders, he will have to sculp 500 statues. Can someone explain please? :/

incredible amount of detail i wish they did a sculture for every class.

There is a pic of all the separate parts. I think that after making them, they are cast and replicated. the only thing to make by hand for each statue would be painting then. That's my theory, but I'm not 100% sure.

Hmm... yes it makes sense. If every purchased figure would be 100% hand made, it would cost alot more than 300$, but if every figure would be 100% made by machines, it would cost way below 300$... sorry I don't know much about action figures and sculptures, but hell, I wouldn't mind having one on my desk ^^
