Fire builds are honestly great for those who havnt gotten to T6 sub 10 yet.. try to get their with a fire build and you need to get lucky with the packs, density, and way to many other things to make fire > phys.. phys turrets are by far the DH end game for anything efficient in T6.
Practically all my runs, including long 6 level ones are sub-10 minutes as fire (start to killing rift guardian, not including all the stuff after). The last time i recall even getting over 10 minutes as fire was when I was testing calamity (which sucked incredibly terribly). Good (1 floor) rifts are already at around 6-7 minutes, with a few under 6 minutes.
On another note, back when I played physical, with worse gear than I have now, runs were already around the 10 minute mark.
Physical, with the right taskers *might* be better than fire. I can't really test. However, 10 minutes is incredibly easy a fire.
Physical is much better with even wiht low TnT rolls than fire - Tested and Confirmed
So are you saying physical or fire is your build of choice for t6? For me physical wins T6.
Well I had a pet garwulf/4mara/tnt physical build.......and I was doing T6 with ease.....new fire build with 6pc.....still doing it with ease...about to toy with your 6pc phys.....gonna have to suspect aht will be done with ease too.....lol,
I've had success with physical and fire builds on DH. So I personally think its a preference. But then again I'm not sitting here with a stopwatch timing my runs.....I like to play with my own pace and get lazy (still probably 15-20 min at most lol) and use my naga while playing/watching TV. So.......I'm not gonna sit here and be like I know fire/phys is the best.....I just think both are viable lol.
I'm just here to defend that physical builds are viable and aren't trash like one of the first posts mentioned lol.
I know a lot of DHs on this forum including Chad who just posted and we have clearly came to the conclusion that while both are viable for T6 , physical is the most efficient for farming T6 rifts

I run a similar spec, but with some fire dmg instead (you can see some %phys cause I'm in the process of converting and was toying with both) and honestly I can say both specs are t6 viable. I can say TnT is honestly the biggest difference maker if you're deciding on a physical build. It's great in the build I'm using as well.

At this point in time, I really do think it's whatever your preference is. Fire and Physical both succeed with a good setup.
TnT should be mandatory for physical builds...
...and I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Mara 6pc is undeniably in the lead for build setups for both fire and physical.....the frequency at which these turrets spit out hatred spenders is just.....redonkuolous
If I take 6pc Mara to be the most important part of the fire build.......I can honestly say I'm going to Take TnT over cindercoat because of the sentries.

How is the 100% rocket damage from Ballistics applied? Does it mean it doubles or if they originally do 400% they now do 500%?
I've been keeping up with this thread. Like I said prior - I've tested both Phys and Fire and I can say with TnT Phys is overwhelming favorite for T6. I highly suggest you try this if you have not already.
What superior AoE? LfB has better AoE component than SS. And Ballistic is not a dead passive on Fire too as it boosts Arsenal and Spitfire Turrets. And putting turrets aside, go ahead and compare how many clusters can you fire with and without Cindercoat. With it I can literally spam it while setting down turrets, and without it I spend "free" time doing what.. Hungering Arrow mostly? I'm not saying physical is bad, it's not, but please try not to be biased.
umm sorry to say this but this is 100% biased lol - I have both end game phy and fire - in my OWN opinion physical is superior in T6. Not by a lot but it is for me.
Physical just makes sense for marauder set. 550% cluster damage +3 400% rockets, add the 100% rockets damage from the passive and we're at 500% and in my eyes superior damage/aoe. Both specs are good but I feel physical has the edge in end game gear.
Couldn't have said it better. I think those who are suggesting fire clearly have not tested enough.

Test method: Run T6 rifts over and over - you will see the efficiency and effectiveness of physical build (more automatic damage and survive-ability)
I should add if you are just looking for a build to single target RGs or Ghom then yes Fire but for T6 Rifts Physical is superior.
