Don't really agree with the proposed change to "stand your ground". It would be fairly useless most of the time (while on the move or stopped for short durations... similar usefulness as current "towering shield"... or a very weak version of wizard's "Unwavering will"), but terribly OP in very niche circumstances (probably <1%... wall tanking certain encounters or other situations where you could just sit there and let it stack to ridiculous levels). I'm all about skills not being all things to everyone all the time, but useless most of the time and so-OP-would-be-nerfed in very select circumstances isn't necessarily a good place to be.
I personally don't mind the current implementation of "stand your ground", but could see why one wouldn't think it isn't creative. But I think there are much higher priorities to fix.
Cooldown reduction stat will be fairly transformational for many classes/builds. We'll see how much tuning (a la D3 release haste) it eventually receives if it turns out to be problematic. Hopefully not much because the possibilities are staggering ;->
