I actually run Ignite because it burns enemies, which makes the Conflagration passive work that much better (enemies that are hit by fire damage have increased chances of being critically hit).
Are you sure that's better then +more chance of stun and Elemental Exposure? You are running Fire, Ice, Arcane and Lightning damage types, aren't you?

Looks like Jaetch went Elemental Exposure after all. But honestly it just doesn't feel good enough compared to compromises you have to make to get all four elements present.

Nope. Just lightning, cold and fire.
Interesting. Your weapon is Arcane, and I thought - for some reason - weapon damages were added unto skills or something for elemental effects. That would be the full 20% more damage...if mobs live that long. Merc Weapon maybe? ;-)
Ignite's 32% additional damage over 3 seconds for all targets that get hit by an attack is hard to ignore.
Didn't realize it stacked like that with Cindercoat!
I want into Beta so bad. I'd sell my first, second, AND thirdborn children.

That's why I'm so excited for RoS. There's much more flexibility and customization available here.
Still, I think they wiffed on Energy Twister and to a lesser extent Shock Pulse. Shock Pulse really should have been a Fire-type damage primary with some interesting runes. Arcane was covered by Magic Missile, Lightning by Electrocute, Fire by Shock Pulse, and a hybrid by Spectral Blades.
Agreed, Ice Armor is one of those pretty useless skills. Only Frozen Storm is competitive - But it's decent defensively and has a chance to freeze everything around you constantly(With that legendary) without picking up Blizzard. That's useful!
Guess what... Got my hands on such a legendary. Frostburn Gauntlets. I'd like to thank drjdredscythe for hooking me up during his stream tonight.
Here's the potentially broken wizard build, with chances to blind, freeze and stun constantly over and over and over again:
The build would be better with Electrify for more Paralysis stuns, even despite Cindercoat; I came up with a similar build too, but I had tagged the legendary that instantly killed Frozen enemies - yet unknown to me - that really, really broke the build - if it exists.
"ItemPassive_Unique_Ring_668_x1 - Chance to Shatter and Kill frozen enemies."
What the heck is Dominance? I've never heard of this passive.
Yeah, for higher difficulties, Dominance is the go-to passive.
You know what's funny? On the skill selection screen, Dominance is located where Critical Mass used to be
So, SUCH delicious irony. But we needed it; We mainly abused Critical Mass for Frost Nova/ Diamond Skin survivability. This should make a good substitute. It also DOES make Teleport superior to DS in most builds mainly because hopefully we'll already have a "absorb" shield up - and Teleport breaks Jailer/Waller and Helps with Frozen/Vortex.
Jaetch; Have you found an updated RoS skill calculator?
Key 4: Energy Armor - Prismatic Armor/Pinpoint Armor or Storm Armor - Power of the Storm
Passives:
Paralysis
Dominance
Astral Presence
Glass Cannon or Cold Blooded (cold follower)
Almost the same as mine, except I went with DS instead of Teleport, and Electrify instead of Force Weapon. Teleport may be superior...I think Electrify is better then Force Weapon with Paralysis.
What the heck is Dominance? I've never heard of this passive.
Haven't really found a use for them yet other than the Frozen Storm rune, which adds a consistent AOE cold effect to trigger Cold Blooded.

Edit: Found Dominance. Definitely the new mandatory passive...and makes Teleport superior to DS.
What kind of builds are you guys looking at making in RoS? Lightning? Fire? Ice? Black Ice? Shatter? Looks like Archon and CM are done and the race to find the new Best Builds is beginning ;-)
Since there is no up-to-date skill calculator, some of this may require some explanation:
Ray of Frost - Numb has a 15% chance to Freeze, plus an effective single target nuke.
Blizzard - Frozen Solid has a 25% Chance to Freeze plus stacks Cold Blooded on Everything
Frost Nova is 100% Freeze and some Defensive utility. Ironically, this skill is probably the first one you'd change for Diamond Skin.
Hydra casts "Frost Nova" (More on this later) and stacks damage on the mobs.
Familiar - Vigoron has been changed to "Icicle" Which has a 35% chance to Freeze enemies on attack.
Ice Armor has a chance to freeze attackers and adds a bit of AE DPS and some defensive utility.
Seems like a pretty standard build, but here's where it all gets interesting:
There's a legendary item that does this: Chance to shatter and instantly kill frozen enemies. So everytime you freeze enemies, it's a good shot of one hit kills. And there's a LOT of freezing going on.
Some other useful legendaries that really complement the theme are:
Unknown Legendary:Your Chill effects have a 50% chance to Freeze instead of Slow. Unknown Legendary: Ray of Frost now pierces
Unknown Legendary:Frost Hydra now periodically casts Frost Nova.
Legendary Wand: You may have one extra Hydra active at a time.
Or something more Traditional like a meteor or Frozen Orb sorc? What are you guys planning to try out? ;-)

I called it "Shatter"
Dogpile on the mods till we get one! ;-)

Won't remove the cooldown on Frost Nova or Diamond Skin. CMWW is dead and gone.

What are your preliminary ideas?
Lightning

Things to keep in mind: Liquefy is now Lightning damage, and LMB will be likely Black Hole (Event Horizon)
"Shatter"
