I've never been a fan of PKing, mostly because lately it seems like I'm always on the losing end of it, but no I've never been that much into it, most of the time it seems like it's a bunch of hacked guys with no jobs, no lives, no significant other save their computer running around killing people, who like me, do not have the luxury of time to MF the hell out of the game and get all the godliest gears possible. No, I much prefer to play a game for it's story or RP value, that is what drew me to the game in the first place afterall. It wasn't noob-bashing/Pking that got me into the Diablo series.
I'm not saying there aren't legit Pkers out there, it just seems like they are an extreme minority.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
i just spelt it that way as im so used to writing SICK

I hate playing on battle.net with my LOD characters. Too..............many.........cheaters!
Are you on open battle.net? Cause, yeah, they're all cheaters there. But it's much harder to get away with cheating in closed battle.net.
The biggest and worst cheats are undoubtetly on open realm, but even closed B.Net is full of cheaters.
yes open battle.net is full of cheaters, as well you can use a character editor and pretty much do what every you want, make any item you want, have any amount of stats/skills you want, etc.
closed battle.net is a little hard to cheat on, but yes its still possible.
your best bet is to join say a clan channel that hopefully has no cheaters on it, and play with those people, id suggest starting with op xSICKx, as that is the clan channel used by people here, and from what ive gathered, no one cheats here, or they cheat minimalisitically

they are only gone if you delete the d2 directory, unistalling the game doesnt delete your characters, incase you want to reinstall and play with them later

LOD/WOW/other RPG are where we are mostly. but we do venture into the realms of RTS.
Carloseus and Thasador are your best bets for anything pertaining to WOW, they do an excellent job of representing us on there.

SICK is not limited to LOD. it is present in Starcraft, WOW, Warcraft III, and i think even counterstrike, but primarily its based in LOD.
we try to branch out into almost any game that has multipler/guild capabilities.

sadly that seems to be the case, it was only a month ago it was active as. what happened.
and it will never disband, it might switch games, LOD>>WOW>>then back again, but it will never disband

it seems there is no obligation to put the guild tag in your account name, but it is nice to see it.

thats fairly standard for any game i think. which is sad, evne seasoned veterans had to have been noobs at some point. i guess they are just retaliatiing for what happened to them when they were noobs.

no, i think the game is designed pretty well, its just some people have played it so much they know how to exploit certain aspects of the game.

yeh ladder reset didnt seem to be all that worth it it the whole scheme of things.
I hardly ever play D2 Lod, but that is going to change because I'm going to start over and make a Sick_name account and try to be as active as I can be.
let us all know what name you go with so we can try play together some time
