and to answer the question of this thread, yes i started with D1
-Diablo beat it
-Diablo hellfire beat it
-Diablo II beat it
-Diablo II LOD beat it
(including numerous repeat beatings for all)
-Diablo III beating it pending
i found D1 to be the better game, while D2 has many good points, D1 ad a much more darker and gothic feel to it, scarier, save on the spot, cool drunk guy, cool items (torn flesh of the giant or whatever it was), the Warrior with his bad ass attitude (im sorry did i break you concerntration) the Sorcerer with his epic voice and mannerisms, a genre and ground breaking game (with D2 they knew what D1 had so then they could improve it (standard sequel procedure)) all RPGs released after D1 would forever be compared to it.
