At the end of the Veiled prophet, mephisto is asked to leave his mark to earn his trust.
what makes his mark so special?
I remember that part, but its not explained so we don't really know. I guess its just sort of like making a blood pact, but because he's a powerful demon his 'blood' is worth a lot more?
He seems to be the Archangel of War, but it hasn't been confirmed. Whatever his title is, its bound to be something similar. And yeah, he does seem to be a bit of a leader, but I wasn't really feeling that the other archangels feared him, though they could slightly.
Because of their relationship. Tyrael is Inarius's "brother" (not in the same sense in which we use the word 'brother', but similar). I suppose it might be because Tyrael knows Inarius best, and Inarius knows Tyrael best? Its not just a power level thing, its a relationship thing. Anyway, who says Imperius is the strongest? He's the one that humans have to fear because he wants Sanctuary destroyed, not who angels have to fear. And wanting Sanctuary destroyed kind of puts Imperius on Inarius' side anyway.
Well firstly lets move this to the Ask Lore Questions Here thread.

Why isn't there a Diablo Fan Fiction section?
This really isn't the right place to ask that, sorry - people who answer lore questions aren't necessarily the people who organise the forum.
Would Mendeln aka Kalan be consider one of the newer generation of Nephalem in his own right? Him being the lone surviving Edyrem with the third coming of the Naphalem for D3 and beyond. Is Uldyssian the true God-Naphalem of Sanctuary and alive to lead Sanctuary once again?
Mendeln is considered as the only surviving Edryem, yes. Which yes, Edryem by definition is a newer generation of Nephalem (though not second generation - the second generation of Nephalem would be ones like Rathma's offspring, which were born aaages ago). The 'third coming' of the Nephalem are pretty much everyone on sanctuary that has special powers (except mages, who use magic with actual spells rather than just a will to do something). This includes the classes we get to play as in Diablo and DII, and continuing on to DIII. Since the worldstone was altered 3000 years ago, humans have slowly been regaining their 'birthright' powers, and so have had years to develop them into different disciplines and types (classes).
We don't know what really ended up with Uldyssian. He's not really 'alive' anymore, I don't think. His spirit kind of merged with Sanctuary, so I doubt we would really see him. Maybe he will act as a guardian, and maybe appear as some sort of apparition to give advice, but I doubt it. His story has come and gone, its what he did for Sanctuary 3000 years ago that matters.
Could the Necromancer underground city may lie in the jungles of Kehjistan? Rathma and Kalan went there to study the hidden powers that lie there and it does seem the only place that necromancer could hidden from the rest of Sanctuary.
Yes.
Could had Kabraxis make a replacement or one of the chief Evils? Before the Black Road event. And to add couldn't other archdemons take the mantel of Evil temporary?
Maybe. Its hard to say how Blizzard will go about this, but its possible.
Diablo's return to Sanctuary, doesn't it sound like Lilths's return in the Sin War novel Scale of the Serpent? Could the Tristram cathedral site been built upon on the the 'ley line' points of reality as Lilith did, so did Diablo only that his return was notice by Sanctuary.
Sounds like it, yes, but its not. Lilith was imprisoned in the void, while Diablo was killed and therefore sent "back to the abyss that spawned him". See here for further abyss/void explanation.
When the 'Final Day' come and man will fight the armies of Demons and Angels at Arreat, it would mean the final battle will take place at Arreat Crater?
Who says there will be a 'Final Day' when man fights Demons and Angels at Arreat?
Are there any other reference to the Barbarian Horde led by Iceclaw aka Kabraxis in the Diablo games/manuals aside from the Black Road novel?
The nephalem (aka humans) have the potential to be more powerful than demons and angels, which is why the Sin War (war to take over Sanctuary) has gone on for so long.
It does seem kind of silly though that humans can defeat someone like Diablo, but we never truly defeat him. Recently one of the devs said that 'defeating' the Three in Diablo II was just the tip of the iceberg.
And also remember that angels and demons lose much of their power while on Sanctuary.
Because thats where the Wanderer put it. The Wanderer (Warrior from DI) defeated Diablo and attempted to contain Diablo's soulstone within in him. But of course, Diablo was too strong for him, and so Diablo ended up taking over his body completely and the soulstone just happened to still be stuck in his head.
Anakyn has a good point.. but in this particular case, don't worry, its not really a spoiler anyway. It has very little to do with the main storyline of Legacy of Blood.
Um... it started with the beginning of time? Since time immemorial? Before we even started to record history? I haven't quite yet got a chance to look at either the Angel's or Demon's record books though, so I can't tell you when they started recording their own history, but I imagine it would have began an incomprehensible amount of time ago.
Yeah, it was for revenge of Mephisto's children (Lilith and Lucion). Heh, why am I the only one who bothers with quotes?
Mephisto: "This world cost me my children, both who sought its survival. I would also have it grow for their sakes."
...
Mephisto talking about taking Inarius as prisoner: "Him... let he whose crimes are already legion among you now be cast to me to pay for my loss - and the sealing of the truce, as it happens."
And I know, I really should go through this again and update the answers on the first post...

There's a lot to read, lol, but thats what you're looking for.
But the basic answer is that Tristram is where Diablo was imprisoned.
Mephisto: "This world cost me my children, both who sought its survival. I would also have it grow for their sakes."
