It would be really simple with Javascript, no need for Flash or anything. Just need a huge ass array of all the runewords and their details and then sort them in reaction to, say, form selections.
While that is true, you could't get flashy with Javascript.... like... a picture of the item complete with empty sockets, allowing you to choose a possible combination given the amount of sockets, complete with full animation.... and.... and.... Monkeys! Bwahaha.... erm... >.>
But a basic design would be good as a tool for the forums. My idea (which is better done in Flash) may not be a good idea because of the loading necessary, which could impact gameplay, especially on older computers. I'm down for giving it a go though. I can brush up on my AS3 =D.

A runeword program? I could try to attempt something for that, be it through AS3 (I may need to get some help from a friend), or a program to download (Windows based .exe). Flash might be better, as it could easily be integrated into the website as a tool. Work's been a bit crazy though, my timeline for having this created would be difficult to predict (and even more difficult to keep steady), so it'd be better of we had multiple people on this project. I'm for getting a team to help work on this.
