Maybe it's an idea to instead of trying to seperate them gameplaywize, maybe they should combine it?
Creatures affected by poison also getting affected with a disease, maybe lower attackdmg, less armor, slower attackspeed etc. Realisticly, people who get poisoned with any kind, gets weakened of some sort, don't they?

Uhm, lightning is electricity and ice makes you cold. ^^ I'm pretty sure that poison and disease are separate things in Sanctuary too, they just simplified it. In this case I would like it to be a little more complicated. There would still not be any disease resistance so the gameplay is pretty much the same, the difference would be that you can't reduce disease damage, only duration.
On Topic:
I would say light 1 handed weapons like daggers (very fast), swords (fast), axes (medium) and maces (slow). I think we can skip javelins, they aren't necessary. The Barbarian should be the only character that uses heavy 2 handed weapons. Perhaps shields.
Ehh... If you read what he said, he's point (as well as mine) as gameplaywize in !!! DIABLO !!!, both poison and disease can't be implemented in the game, because you can't set them apart. You're just being a pooper now.

Disease is bacteria or virus, poison is a chemical substance. The poison resist should therefore not cover disease.
That is the difference, they are still both DoT.
How the hell does that makes any difference in a game? Doesnt matter if its a bacteria, virus, or creampie, it doesnt set two classes apart from eachother.

Well, we can sit here and speculate all we want, but it still wont do us any good. Thats because the only one's sitting with any kind of information about the last class, is the team creating the game. So the only thing we can do is build up expectations about a class, and maybe that leads to us getting disappointed?
I don't know. Though I understand that some people like to discuss it, I think it's pointless.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure it will be something simular to an amazon, but maybe in a different style. But the point with the character and it's skill-tree will be that you can choose if you want to be pure melee, pure ranged, or maybe something close to both at the same time.

No there isn't. Both are based on damage over time, when you think of it gamewise.
