There is a bit of conflicting in the RP thread, but that is more than likely from someone who didn't read the novel/and or this thread first.
There are no conflicts in regards to the story of the RP thread, though there may be one or two to do with characters in the RP thread, (but not any of mine)
The RP Thread, is set about 2 years after the novel, which in turn is set some time after the events laid down in the opening post of this thread.
It is possible for a character to appear in all 3 threads, this one, the novel (with Carloseus' permission) and the RP thread, generally speaking this thread has no offical date, sure there is a kind of timeline, but a story posted in this thread can be placed at any point on that timeline, the novel and RP thread have set dates. Novel is set in 1498, the RP Thread in 1500 (Diablo 1 was in 1250, just for reference)
Yeah, basically this thread is just for members to tell their stories or what not...no general timeline to follow.

Those before me shall quiver in my wake as I unleash the fury within!
We gathered mounts from the local barracks and set off east into the desert. My entire legion gathered into formation as they followed me to the battlezone. Winston drew out his sword as he awaited for an order for the battle was growing near. I ordered Winston and Sofawall a pincer manuever to the right and try to flank the rear commanding officers. Winston gave a salute as he took his brother in arms to the right swiftly. The rest of the Assassins followed me as i veered to the left. We approached a hill about 2 kilometers from the engagment zone. We observed all movements of the battle field. SLAYERS was smashing their way up the middle. AcidReign's Exiled Angels were set up on the right and Darkjay's men were set up on the left. This battle resembled that of the mighty battle between the Persian army and the Spartan warriors.
Ashelosch's clan were fierce warriors...something nothing the legionaires of SICK have every combat against. AcidReign's and Darkjay's legions were at the whim of skilled warriors whom were trained for many years in the art of war against other men. SLAYERS were holding up very well due to Carloseus's training with myself. But if AcidReign's and Darkjay's legions gave out, then SLAYERS would be surrounded. The battle brewed longer as AcidReign and Darkjay gave out mighty battle cries to keep their mens spirit alive. Darkjay created death and destruction with his mighty axe as AcidReign and his wizardry plagued the enemy. Carloseus and his twin blades struck fear in all that was in front of him as SLAYERS continued their onslaught. I looked off into the distance and found Winston and Sofawall standing on top of their slained targets. They then waved to me signaling their completion. I nodded and hand signaled them to continue slaying all officers of opportunity. I then ordered Shadows Wake and Aeolus to aid AcidReigns Legion. Shadows Wake projected his spot in battle and dissappeared into a shadow from a nearby tree. Aeolus summoned a cyclone that carried him to the battle field.
NoExplanation and I remained on top of the hill searching for the leader of Ashelosch's Clan. After scanning the battle field with no avail...we then took charge of the battle field. NoExplanation went his way to assist Carloseus and his SLAYERS as I went to cut off the reinforcements through the center. With still more than one hundred trained enemies engaging SICK, it seemed to be a long battle until...a loud shriek ripped across the sky. Many of us ducked in cover as we thought it was a meteor summoned by one of the foes. When we all looked up, a stream of light bellowed through the sky as we continued to battle Ashelosch's forces. As I approached the battle still confused of the stream of light across the sky, I unsheathed my Shuriko and began engaging the closest hostile. This was no ordinary engagement as most of us SICK was used to hack and slashing against Hell's minions, this was an army ready for one on one duels. I clashed my Shuriko against a warrior's scythe. Sparks filled the air around us. Spinning around after the parry, I cut the scythe handle in half and struck a fatal blow to the neck of my adversary. I then moved on to the next foe. A sorcerer stood ready with fire engulfing his fists. He launched the first attack as I stood firm and swiped the fire away with my enchanted sword. Once the cinders cleared the air, I disappeared with my god like speed and reappeared to his flank, driving the tip of my sword into his ribs. The battle continued without mercy.
Slashing a warrior's hand off and finishing him with a shot to the gut, the loud shriek returned to zip by over our heads. Soon after an earthquake pillaged through the enemy lines killing most of them. I looked up to the sky and glared out my Lord God himself at the battle field. He summoned power from his board and casted a massive energy blast at a legion in front of AcidReign's position. Watching my Lord deliver massive blows to Ashelosch's forces I almost forgot to keep up my guard. An arrow wizzed by my head as I took up arms again. The very sight of Lord Silver up lifted the men's moral and pushed forward. Lord Silver then dived down and created a shockwave that took half of the remaining forces off their feet. Darkjay looked in awe as he got excited and began slashing all the downed warriors with his mighty axe. Carloseus looked in laughter seeing Darkjay having his fun killing them as they were down. Lord Silver rose again from his assualt and shouted to the remaining enemy forces to retreat or be destroyed. With his mighty shout, all of Ashelosch's clan retreated back into the desert.
After a brief moment of silence, we gave a cheer for Lord Silver and began collecting the wounded and the dead. I sheathed my sword and turned to see Darkjay still having his fun with the wounded warriors. I shook my head and turned away with a smile creepy about on my face. We all gave our thanks to Lord Silver and gathered at Darkjay's tavern were we wait for him to open the doors after he got back from his "fun".

Those before me shall quiver in my wake as I unleash the fury within!
Many days has passed since the incident occurred with Samuel and his inherited power of my own, Samuel now returning quickly to the peaceful son of Thasador. I awoke one morning in my home to my lovely wife sleeping besides me, sleeping with elegancy and beauty. I went downstairs and saw my daughter dedicating herself daily, of her warrior skills. Samuel running around the main hall, climbing on top of what ever furniture he could find. A normal, yet beautiful day for a man, I thought to myself. I gathered my wardrobe and gear to begin my day. Before I sat out to my quarters, I gave each of my family members a kiss on the head and waved them farewell.
When I arrived at Lord Silver’s Citadel, a strange feeling aroused me as if I was supposed to know something. I paid no attention to this as I continued my way through the towering gates of Silver’s Citadel and towards my quarters. On my way to my quarters, I witnessed on the sparring grounds the future prodigies of ASSASSINS, Winston and Sofawall maintaining discipline and skill. I stood there for a moment off to the distance and watched both of them teaching each other what the other does not know. This put a smile on my face as they are pair not to be parted. I continued my way to my quarters, passing through the many halls of the legions. I quickly sat down at my desk to finish my daily report and paperwork, so I may go on with my personal meditation and training. Myself being frustrated viewing the roster of my legion of assassins. Jealousy seems to creep on my shoulders for Carloseus’s SLAYERS still the most active and disciplined unit of SICK.
Carloseus has always been my brother, my family, yet I have always stridden to do better. He has been an inspiration in my life, which taught me everything that is needed to do well in battle. I have always imagined if I surpassed Carloseus in any area as an officer of SICK, then I have passed his test that he has always bestowed upon me. My lieutenant rarely in his quarters as well as both of my sergeants in-active…I cringed as my legion was becoming unorganized. I wrote out a notice to all ASSASSINS requiring more activeness and training to rally our legion back together. After a few moments of pondering, I took the time to write two additional, yet important letters to Lord Elfen Lied himself. Grabbing my armor and my Shuriko, I set out to the courtyard where most warriors of SICK gather.
Walking around the courtyard, I came across Lord AcidReign’s legion, GXAII. There I congratulated Siaynoq on his new promotion. Wished him the best of luck as he continued to study advanced strategies to be prepared for second in command. AlphaX and Mobbin were getting ready to head for the sparring grounds. I then made way to go visit the Angels of Death legion across the courtyard.
I unsheathed my sword in an instant only to swipe away one of DarknessAngel’s fire blast. Always challenging me to a duel and always trying to keep me on my toes. I smiled at DarknessAngel as I sheathed my sword. Mastaraider, the only active member of Angels of Death along with DarknessAngel came and greeted me. I sat down on a bench as we conversated for a bit seeing how we never had the chance to. A fine gentleman he is as I then went off to the SLAYERS sanction. Fudlow and Carloseus dueling each other with their weapons as I approached them. I did not want to disturb them as I said my greetings to the rest of the legion and see how they were doing.
Finishing my greetings with Ajax, one of Lord Elfen Lied’s scouts on horseback came purging through the front gates. I quickly gathered myself and rushed to hear the news as he delivered to Lord DarkJay. The message of an enormous army of unknown origins was heading this way towards Silver’s Citadel. The scout reported at least 5 brigades of regulars and 1000 soldiers under a clan’s flag thirty miles southeast of our position. This was no hell’s army nor were they friendly. A rival clan suggested was the clan of Ashelosch has came to claim our land. DarkJay ordered one of the guards to sound the alarm as he hastely went to Lord Elfen Lied to report. I quickly ran towards my quarters and screamed out to all legion commanders on my way, “To arms…to arms.” I assembled Sofawall, Shadows Wake and Winston, for they were the only ASSASSINS available and active. I smacked myself to only see 3 of my men here when they were needed the most.
I ordered Shadows Wake, the stealthiest of us ASSASSINS ahead and collect intelligence on the approaching enemy forces. With a single wisp…he disappeared into the shadows. Sofawall and Winston followed my lead as I needed them for whatever mission Lord Elfen Lied wished for us to undertake. As we headed towards the war room, Carloseus and his SLAYERS have already gathered almost his entire legion and made way to intercept Ashelosch’s clan. DarkJay and AcidReign followed right behind SLAYERS for support. “Finally, blood that needs to be shed. An opportunity I can never pass up!” I rolled my eyes as DarkJay grabbed his axe and sped passed me. I commanded a few legions as I almost reached the war room to take up defensive positions at the outskirts of our land.
As I entered into the great war room, Lord Elfen Lied commanded no strategic assassinations as he is unaware of this new threat. Within a few minutes, Shadows Wake returned and gave his intelligence report to Lord Elfen Lied. “Alright ASSASSINS, go do what you must to aid our legions in this new campaign.” We bowed before him and made way out of the war room and to defend our land of all of those whom stand in the way of our salvation.

Those before me shall quiver in my wake as I unleash the fury within!
All went well at Lord God Silver’s might citadel. I returned to my quarters from the exciting quest, ASSASSINS first mission from Lord Silver. Sitting at my old, hand carved, desk filling out a report to send to Lord Elfen Lied when all of the sudden a messenger barged in through the front door of my quarters. The messenger, out of breathe, tried to give the news to me. I sat him down on my bench and gave him a beer while he caught his breathe. He looked straight into my eyes and told me news of my son, Samuel. I rushed to the outskirts of Silver’s citadel where all the families of SICK reside. I ran around the corner to find my family’s home. I went through the front door and searched for Allison. She was no where to be found. Brianne, my daughter was in the backyard training with her kuni and asked her the whereabouts to her mother and brother. She told me that they went to the nearby town for some food. I took foot in my travel to the town of Dakresh and scanned the town square for my beloved. A crowd gathered around the market and a weeping cry was heard about. There in the middle of the crowd I found Allison on the ground crying with blood smeared all over. I grabbed her to her feet and asked what had happened to you and Samuel. She was hesitant to tell me as I feared the worst. Suddenly my Insanity of War spirit came out and I was enraged, screaming revenge of the one whom has spilt the blood of my son. She grabbed my armor down with force and snapped me out of my War spirit and told me what happened to our son. She pointed into the back of the Market where I glanced out and saw more blood over the walls and counters. I dashed with haste to the back of the room and saw my son over two corpses with blood painted all over him. An aura gleamed over him like he was possessed.
He glared at me as I approached and I knew something was wrong with him. He grabbed a butcher knife off the ground and try to attack me. I then took a step back and disarmed him and held him down to the ground. I thought to myself how a child at the age of 1 ½ can do this. I grabbed him with restraint and Allison and started to head back to Silver’s citadel. As we traveled back to the citadel, Samuel repetitively tried to break my grasp around him. I held him like a satchel of meat. I finally went to sleep as tired from his constant struggle to break away from me. Allison cried the entire trip back as she was afraid of what he has done to those two men in the market. I put my arm around her as I tried my best to comfort her. We arrived to see my men awaiting for me as they too have heard the news. I then approached one of Lord Silver’s elite guards and asked for an audience with Lord Silver himself. The guard told me to await in the atrium as he rushed to Lord Silver’s throne room. After a few moments, Lord Silver came out to the atrium himself to see what had happened to my son. I pleaded him to help me and my son.
He glared at my son and laughed. At first I took offense but then he assured me not to. He sat down besides us and told me that my curse flows in my son’s veins. I looked in Allison’s eyes as she gave me this confused and angered look. I thanked Lord Silver for his time and wisdom and headed to my militant quarters. I laid him down on my bunk and told Allison to go home. As she closed the door, Samuel awoke and was crying. I sent a legionnaire for a favor for some milk at the nearby farm. He came back with much haste as I payed him for his time and effort. Samuel grabbed the milk from my hands and sucked it down as he dreamt off back to sleep.
Hours went by until several knocks on my door grabbed my attention. A squad of the town’s guards asked for my audience downstairs in the courtyard. As I approached the courtyard one of the guards attempted to assassinate me from behind for what my son has done. I rolled out in front of me and dodge his sword. I then grabbed one of the guards foot by reflex and twist it around as I continued to roll. The remaining two guards then charged after me. I tried to stop them with reasoning but they did not listen as they continued to charge me. I unsheathed my sword and cut their swords right in half with blinding speed. Nearby…Carloseus, Winston, and Sofawall heard the commotion and came to my aid. Winston unsheathed his massive bastard sword and engaged one of the guards. Sofawall ran around the battle to try to flank the remaining guards. As he did this, more men came rushing through the courtyard with weapons drawn behind Sofawall. Carloseus then teleported between the enemies and sofawall. He drew out his massive swords with a smile and asked “Who shall taste my blades?” The soldiers stood weary as they hesitated with Carloseus at front. Sofawall slained one of the guards then went to assist Winston as his foe equipped a Halbeird. A weapon that has much avantage over his bastard sword. Carloseus then charged at the squad of men with his mighty swords ready to strike. To his unwilling surprise, the men fled in retreat out of Silver’s Citadel.
Carloseus got pissed and threw a rock at the retreating men. I was still engaged to one of the soldiers as he seemed quite skilled in combat. I assumed this was the leader of the squad. With Sofawall and Winston finishing up the man with the Halbeird and Carloseus coming up to me with a frown, the leader of the soldiers surrendered. Sofawall and Winston halted their attack and arrested the soldier they were combating. Carloseus shrugged his shoulders with more disappointment and grabbed the man with anger. I sheathed my sword and arrested the leader and took him and his man to Imperator Elfen Lied for judgment and trial. Carloseus and I awaited with Sofawall and Winston in the atrium for Lord Elfen Lied’s sentencing for attacking SICK members and intruding on Lord God Silver’s Citadel without permission. I had no time for this as I had to attend to my son back in my quarters. Carloseus pushed me as I was awaiting and knew of this. “Go to your quarters stupid…I can always come to you to tell you what happens.” I slapped Carloseus in the face like how a brother does to one another and headed back to my quarters. I walked in to see my son gazing at one of my swords that I collected from my foes on my wall. He then looked at me with his innocent eyes and began to talk baby gibberish to me like I am supposed to under stand him. Carloseus then opened my door with a smile on his face and sarcastically and immaturely said, “Your in trouble…your in trouble lol”. I rolled my eyes and asked him to watch my son. Carloseus then fast-walked past me and playfully tackled my son as I headed out the door.
Lord Elfen Lied and Lord Silver were awaiting for me as I saw the men being dragged into the dungeon. They asked of why I had not told them about what my son has done. I replied with of only concern to my son’s well being. They then said that since the town’s guards tried to assassinate me, that they will send a report of caution when approached by a situation like this. I was off the hook. I exited Lord Elfen Lied’s execution chamber and was tackled by Winston and Sofawall. They seemed so relieved to not see me in shackles. I thought to myself…why has this day came to be with a disappointed look on my face.

Those before me shall quiver in my wake as I unleash the fury within!
With a fully delivered report of my legion's name and cause...the Legion of Assassins...I set out to the local architects to build an additional legion wing to Lord Silver's Citadel. As I was making way to the architects, I have sent Daniel on a quest to every village, town and city in our area and to bring back recruits for SICK and Assassins. With a mighty tornado commanded by Daniel (Ba3kb0y), lifted him to the nearest village.
As I crossed the courtyard, some of the members of SLAYERS met up with me. Ferret, Saber, Caliban, and Fudlow followed me to the architects, coversating with me about how I was doing away from SLAYERS. I assured them since I will still be under Commander Carloseus's sword, that I will always be by there sides. Fudlow slapped my shoulder with a grin and said, "Glad to hear it brother...I mean Commander".
I had finally reached the architects service building and dropped a few gold bags on their desk, requesting of construction of the Legion of Assassins wing. With my approved copy of construction from Lord Elfen Lied, the construction workers picked up their tools and began heading to the construction site. After a few moments of watching the hard working men off to construct my legion's building, a sigh of relief came opun me to the assurance of the safety of SICK from other clans in our sanctuary.
I returned to my quarters in persuit of cleaning everything out, to get ready to move my quarters. A quarter of the way of cleaning, I found a old note in the corner of my quarters from Murderface...a seasoned warrior of SLAYERS whom first recruited myself into SLAYERS. The note read,
Greetings Thasador, my name is Murderface and welcome to our guild of SICK. I understand that Lord Silver has just brought you in as a new recruit. I understand that you are not part of any legion of SICK yet, and I was wondering if you would like to be known as the best of SICK. Your scars and sword shows that you have been through many battles. You seem on the verge of insanity and that is what SLAYERS is all about. SLAYERS stands for Silver's Legionairy Advocates Yielding Elite Reckless Surpremecy. We are under command of the mighty Baron of SLAYERS, Commander Carloseus. If you wish to join us, please me in the hall of arms where I will take you to Baron Carloseus's stay. ~Murderface~ End of Note
After I read this, that was when we received word of a fortress of Lord Silver's was undersiege by Ulders and Moon Lords. I quickly grabbed my Shuriko and my armor and raced out of the Citadel. Others followed to aid in the fortress now known as "Lycander's Guard", due south, south-east. There were about 30 guards of SICK located there. They were simple guards, no warriors under a legion. Carloseus and Acid Reign got their men together and mounted on horses. I did not have enough time to gather a steed and mount for I relied on my godly speed that once curesed my soul. Maestro and his legion, was called opun to defend Silver's Citadel incase this is a decoy.
I got to the summit of a high dune of the southern Maji desert and spotted the fortress still under siege, about 4 miles away. Shortly after, Commander Carloseus and Acid Reign approached the fortress from a distance to the east. I stood there as an observant to the engagement. Viewing the demons contacting the fortress from the west and Commander Carloseus and Acid Reign with their legions contacted from the east. Carloseus jumped off his horse and raced towards the heavens, about 40 feet in the air and landed on the front line of the assault. SLAYERS went around the fortress to flank Hell's army to the North as Acid Reign reinforced the guards inside the fortress. Carloseus unleashed his Swords of Destruction opun the faces of evil and slained many in a few seconds.
After a few minutes of engagement...the two legions were holding up fairly well against several thousands. Off to my left about 30 degrees I spotted a seperate company of Hell's army just standing there on top of another, smaller, dune. I observed them for a few more minutes until they tried to flank on the SLAYERS position. I unsheathed my Shuriko and raced down the dune to engage. With my god-like speed, I intercepted them within seconds.
However they were not the evil faces of hell, more of men with battle garbs and bones as jewerly. I hesitated for a minute and took a leap back. There were 25 of these warriors with their weapons exposed. I spotted a few with Hell's insignia on their armor. I regained my composure and awaited for one of them to make a move. The sounds of battle roared behind me as I was the only defense from these mercs to kill Carloseus's men, as they were unaware of what was happening through the hundreds of demons around them.
I was thinking of my training, thinking of other battle discilplines that others use, thinking on how heavy or light these mercs wielded...everything was in slow motion. Then one of mercs called foward as he announced that they are known as the DO clan. Demonic Order. They said that they were not controled nor commanded by Diablo himself. They are mere soldiers of the ancient war that decided to side with evil to rid of all men that did not aid them years ago.
I gathered my thoughts for a minute...then one of them from my left attempted to spear me with his massive spear. I grabbed my sheath and deflected his spear as I slashed him violently with my shuriko. He spun around a few times before he hit the ground. The DO Clan then surrounded me with their weapons ready. After a moment, my Shuriko began to glow with a blood red. I shifted to the right with great speed to clash against a DO member that wielded a spiked shield and a dagger. I clashed my Shuriko at him as he drew up his shield. With my blessed Shuriko, slashed right through his shield as well as his body.
Another clan member armed with a bow, began shooting me with his arrows. I turned around and slashed each arrow with my Shuriko...deflecting them away from me. A warrior with a glaive, lunged it at me with percision. It struck me in the shoulder as I tried to dodge it. I dropped down to the ground with this 3 foot glaive inserted into my shoulder. One of them tried to finish the battle while I was on the ground with his shikmir. I grabbed the glaive out of my shoulder and thrusted it into the guy's chest, as I jumped off the ground.
More of their men quickly charged at me as I slashed my sword at them, creating my technique, The Slash of Gods...ripping the three men apart. I quickly jumped in the air as high as I could and threw 2 daggers at two seperate warriors. They side stepped away and spewed fire balls from their hands at me, while I was in the air. I caught one of the fireballs with my powers as I dodged the other. With the fire bellowing from my hand, I re-launched it back at one of the men. He quickly fell to the ground as more fireballs were passing my position. There were still 17 DO clan members left after 10 minutes of engagement. These guys were good...Extremely good. I was already suffering from my wound to my shoulder as I tried to keep my composure.
The leader than revealed himself requesting for myself to join their clan. I glared at him with my expressions telling him the answer. He then ordered two of his bowman to end the battle. I stood ready with my Shuriko between men and the bowman. Out of no where, the tips of their arrows lit on fire. I tumbled to the right at the same time they fired their arrows. In the middle of my tumble...I managed to snare one of the arrows in mid air and threw one at the soldier to my right. The arrow struck him right in his throat as he stumbled to the ground. Right after I was struck in the left hand by an arrow. I then unsheathed by Shuriko at a high speed that air displaced around me. This in affect knocked everyone on the ground. I then proceeded to kill them on the ground. Eight of them were slained by one swing of my blade.
I regathered my composure once a again as 6 clan members were left. I bearly had anything left. Then and only then my Insanity of War took over as I disappeared to the men's eye with God-like speed as I assassinated 4 more with none of them seeing me. The leader and his right hand man was left. I grabbed a short blade that was next to my foot as I wielded it in my off hand. The lieutenant unleashed his magic at me as I run towards him. Right when he unleased his massive bone spirit attack, I closed my distance enough to wear I slashed him with both my Shuriko and the short blade.
Once I hit the ground, from my attack...I looked over my left shoulder to see the leader of DO about to launch a lightning attack no more than a few feet away from my head. Right then 3 wolves came and attacked the leader. The leader leaped back away from these wolves and struck them down. I got back up and saw a massive grizzly bear behind the would be leader. Once he realized something was behind him, Daniel ordered the grizzly to take him out. The grizzly clamped down on the leader's throat and killed him. I attempted to maintain my balance after several injuries I had to thank Daniel for his rescue.
He then gazed at the battle where Acid Reign, Carloseus, and their men dominated in the battle of thousands. He requested to join in the battle as a few more warriors followed behind him. I gave him permission to engage with the men he had gathered, a total of 4, to help with the battle. I stood aside as I concentrated on healing with a few potions i had. Soon after, the battle was over. Although the fortress was considered to be unoperational, it was a victory for SICK. We gathered all caches and guards of the fortress, Lycander's Guard and proceeded back to Lord Silver's Citadel. On the way, I made sure to congradulate Daniel for his quest of recruitment, Commander Carloseus and Acid Reign for their victory, and the men under them for their hard work. After a few days of walking, we made way to the Citadel.

We all gave our thanks to Lord Silver and gathered at Darkjay's tavern were we wait for him to open the doors after he got back from his "fun".
~Murderface~
End of Note
