My biggest gripe with SICK was the amount of effort and organization put into it.
I find that community groups founded on that basis fail, quickly. In Counter-Strike: Source, for example, my team does not have a website or any ranks in it. We're just 9 people that knew each other for about two years that play in leagues, scrim, and practice. One thing I could recommend is getting a Ventrilo, but I don't know how useful one would be in Diablo II.
