Forlan, in his ENTIRE career, has 1, maybe 2 good goals. He just blasts off the ball and hopes it goes in. His goal Against Germany is complete shit, bounced off the ground and everything. He's so overrated. Lol@you calling him the best player of the World Cup.
Get real, folks, the diablo you all knew is dead, a few years ago i said right here in this forum that D3 had a pretty good chance of being blizzard first bust (i was flamed to death ofc), and what you know, its not even beta and its already looking that way.
Huh? Why would he get a yellow for that? I don't understand the reasonining here.. The goal wouldn't have counted, obviously, because it was offside. So what if he kept playing, what advantage would that have given him?
Its a FIFA recommendation, when an offside is called the game stops, if the player tries to score a goal he is penalized with an yellow for anti-sportsmanship behavior.
The same for Iniesta, he received an yellow for pulling his shirt off after he scored the goal, again, this is a FIFA recommendation.
Lol@thinking that Forlan is anything more than a lucky cunt who has no real skill or talent.
''Luck is the residue of design.''
He carried Uruguay all the way to 4th place, was one of the tournament top scorers, and they almost got into the finals. All thanks to him (and Suarez)

If anything, holland got favored by the ref (2 ridiculous fouls and no red cards), if you want to blame someone blame robben, a ''best player'' candidate that misses 2 shots like that in a world cup final doesn't deserve to play in a national team ever again.
Two? What's the second one?
The first one (obviously)
The second wasn't exactly a foul, robben already had an yellow card, he was face to face with cassilas but the ref checked an offside, he still tried to drible cassilas and kicked towards the goal and should have received another yellow.

I knew Spain would win, but this was just a dirty way. An attack that was only there due to an offside.
I blame the fact that we lost a player that close to the end, also we had 2 possible goals, but they never took the shot.
Stop, go cool your head, then come back here, Iniesta was ONSIDE on both plays.

It wasn't Ribery, he was a good winger, but no Robben. He scored like, 11 goals all in the same way, and more goals to carry them through the ranks.
He isn't playing terribly, he was injured, he's excusable. Don't compare him to Ronaldo or Rooney. Those were perfectly fit but just didn't do shit. Torres and Robben aren't 100%. Messi doesn't belong there. Nearly all the goals Argentina picked up were a direct result of Messi.
I honestly believe that if Ribery played the final Bayern could have won, he is that important, even Beckenbauer acknowledged him as beings as good as Messi(i wouldn't go that far tho)
As for being injured, every player has injuries, they never step in the field 100%. About Messi, i was comparing his performance to what he does at camp nou, thats where he got the title of ''the best'', not at the world cup.

Lol@ "a bit". He carried Bayern Munchen to the Champion's League finals almost by himself, give the guy a break.
Ribery is the one who carried Bayern, but Robben had his share, especially when Ribery got suspended.
He is good, he scored a killer header today, but other than that he's playing terribly in this world cup, just like CR, Messi, Rooney, all did. I expected a lot more of him, right now Schneider is the best man on the team.
Other than that, wtf is FIFA doing getting refs from Uzbekistan/Hungary for the semifinals? Great timing to use soccer for politics, huh? I wouldn't be impressed if at the finals the ref is south african... fucking assholes.

Robben is a good player, but predictable, he can only kick/drible with his left. He got completely neutralized against Brazil.
And yet Brazil spent half the match trying to take him out. Should've focused on Sneijder instead
Well, I'm probably biased, but Brazil first half was way better than Holand second half. The match was decided in small mistakes and details, props to Holand, but Brazil could easily have won the match.
After the first goal the team crumbled into pieces, i've never seen that.. things used to be different, the ''old'' brazilian teams would destroy the enemy after a goal, but not this one, they surrendered.

The same is true for basketball, at the last minutes the players make fouls to stop the clock, and that's not cheating. In football, players get tackled at the touchdown line, and it's not cheating.
Suarez made a foul, received a red car, end of story. But just 1 game? C'mon, at least 2. :/
I'm still very sad =[ Some brazillian players fighted until the last second, unfortunely the rest of the team was fucking cowards >_>"
But i hope Spain or Uruguay own this wc.
What? That's what pissed me off the most, the players were fucking dead!!!!! wrong passes, trying to argue with the ref, stupid assholes. I don't mind losing when they play good. But that second half was trash, Holand could have scored 3-4.
..On second thought, i do mind losing even when they play good!!! God damnit!

And @ Nekrodrac: Yeah but his handball won the game pretty much. Ghana missed the PK and because of that they self-destruct. If he doesn't handball, Ghana wins off a last second header. It's a cheap move and he deserves to be disqualified from the tournament.
He did what he had to do, Ghana still had the chance to win the match. They didn't, At the penalties Ghana was doing fine and they could have won, but then that asshole thought it was a good idea to kick just like ZIDANE, lol, i knew he was going to screw up, and he did, and they lost.
But i do agree with you, Suarez should be disqualified for the rest of the tournament, and probably he will be... but he is a hero, he took a bullet for his team, for his country, knowing well what would have happened, and now Uruguai is moving on, and Ghana is going back home.

More than just 2 ''good'' goals.
And its better to score a ''ugly'' goal than not scoring a goal at all.
btw: There is a very funny video on the relateds.

Its easy to be a top scorer when you have iniesta + xavi or ozil + schweinsteiger playing with you.
But fifa will probably pick someone from the winning team.. another BS, like giovani being nominated for the revelation/young player award.

And Germany is trampling Holand!
She's dead.
Are you dutch?

Anyway...
GO URUGUAI/LUGANO!!!
Suarez, the hand of god, new uruguayan hero. Insane game, i wished Brazil had 1/5 the atittude i saw in this.
Go URUGUAY, GO LUGANO!!
