How interesting it would've been to get to keep all party members you find. To have Timothy and Lara with you the whole time would be pretty sweet. The Eye of the Beholder series let you have quite a few party members if I'm not mistaken. No there's a game I'd like to play again.
Ah well, the only thing she's really good for is taking a blow so you and bacatta don't have to first. Pretty useful when fighting those cavemen actually. And by the time you get to Yvel you usually have so much money anyway and won't need to buy anything ever again. But still, Lara is fun cause she makes a lot of keen observations in the Draracle's Caves and is very enthusiastic.
Do you ever feel even kind of sad once you get to that point in the game? Like I could keep playing this type of game for months on end. I think I'm happiest most when I get to Opinwood. The swamps, the woods, the mines...by this time you're really in the thick of the game. Knee deep and you're kind of getting powerful but not too much so you're still kind of nervous a lot of the time. But everything still feels kind of mysterious. Especially without having Paulson it makes things that much more intense.
Yeah magic is better later on. It's kind of fun to try it both ways eventually. I've played through the game so many times and have sided with each one.
Hopefully I can at least get Ak'Shell's magic up to 6 cause I can't cast level 4 mist of doom yet. And I think I accidentally deleted my iso file for LoL so I gotta make a new one again. Meeeee!
They both do the same attacks. Disarm and all. And if you want the +1 magic you have to kill the Xeobs. Or in other words you choose to help the floaty brains.
That is a pretty kick ass sword. And there aren't really any other great swords like that in the game.
Well enjoy fighting those cabal warriors for now. They're quite pleasant compared to the Xeobs and Knowles. You can't even let them get near you. They disarm you constantly and burn your armor.
For real? Well no I don't think it can be recharged. Wand of Death wouldn't be the beset thing to replicate anyway. Sometimes instead of replicating the thunder maul though I would just replicate the best armor among the party. Plus you'll get some guardian orbs too which do plenty of damage so wands at that point are as important.
Well there's a part in the upper center of the map. There is this alcove with lights and a sign that says "activate and replicate". If you push those electrical guys into the three corners then you charge the alcove where you can replicate any item from your inventory. I like replicating the thunder maul. Or you could do your death wand or crossbow valkryie. But you don't have to do it at all either. It's totally up to you. It is kind of a pain. You gotta herd those little pixels into the hallway where you push them back using that gauntlet thing. So with the level 1 hand of fate spell you keep pushing them back till they get locked in those corners.
Yeah even regular weapons can do damage against the wraiths, just not that much. But that cube is like the coolest item in the game. Sucks you had to use that Death Wand on Scotia. I hate fighting any monster that can simultaneously disarm everyone in the party.
Now that you'll be headed for the Catwalk Caverns soon you're almost caught up with me. Remember to push those electric monsters back in those corners to trap them so you can replicate an inventory item. And if you kill too many you won't have enough for each alcove. So save a game before you even attempt it.
On the third level makes sure you fall down that pit at least once so you can fight the minotaur and get his awesome maul. Also, once you get the crucible from the basement, it's worth going back to that door on the third level as he'll let you in if you have the crucible in your inventory.
Just finished the Dracoid Ruins last night. My fighter and mage skill are now at 30 after repeatedly attacking the Belial statue. And now for a picture of Melek.
The place really isn't that bad. Relatively small compared to other places in the game. Another thing about that top level is use your emerald blades to fight the wraiths too. Though you'll mostly use your Vaelan's Cube, you can get fighter experience if you fight them with the blades when you feel comfortable to do so.
I just use my cube as my actual cursor so I can activate Ak'Shel's level 4 heal at a moments notice. When you kill the wraiths with it, the cube turns white. When it is white, right click it again on Ak'Shel to restore his magic. This is what makes it so incredible. You have unlimited killing power against the wraiths and then when the cube is white you can use it to restore your magic needed for healing your party.
Are you referring to the green skull? What you MUST do in the top of the White Tower is use the Vaelen's Cube. I mean, you'll use the first one to destroy Scotia's barrier. But after you get your next one from the Greater Orcs, do NOT destroy the second barrier with it until you have defeated the White Tower. Without the Vaelen's Cube to fight the wraiths at the top, that part of the game is nearly impossible.
So as soon as you get that cube, head back to the white tower but whatever you do, don't go to Yvel until you've cleared the wraiths out of the third tower level.
I found the rock finally that leaks oil into the chieftan's hut. That was a pure delight watching that thing blow up and his blazing body get thrown into the air like that. I can't believe after all these year's I'd just seen that now.
You'll find fireball just fine. It's in one of the desks in the first level of the Urbish Mining Company. Those hornets are pretty good to get your rogue skill up so don't destroy their nests right away.
And looks like I'm going with fighter skill anyway just cause I kind of like the Xeobs better.

Question for you, I'm playing LoL 2 at the moment and how did you say you blow up the chief's hut again? Do you do it inside the village itself?
