You probably can NEVER find some of the good actors that look the role in Diablo.
However, Avatar's HUGE success should help movies like this to have GREAT actors CGIed just like in Avatar.
We know CGI is good enough so it just takes some Ace directors/producers with a Determined mindset to have this movie adapation made! And A lots of Budget!!!

how about marius as the main character, or udyssian?
Then have russel crow as the udyssian, and i think david spade of jim carrey would make a great marius! lol
Marius = Narrator.
Main character != Narrator.
Main character/characters NEED to be those that fight Diablo/Monsters.
And, frankly, I DON'T want to see Diablo as a Narrated movie, at all! At least not thruout the entire movie.
"So, the Barbarian enters the cave. He sees a unique sword on the ground...." Oh hell NO, keep narrating to a MINIMUM!!
Tomes, or the Horadric books can be narrated I guess, but that's about IT.
And Jim Carrey has DONE serious roles. He can act serious for sure.

Yea like if they make an animation movie that is like for adults you know, with blood and gore lol... It could be good, with a good director of course.
I personally wont really mind how the movie will turn out, even if its not so epic i will be happy.
I would prefer a Live action take on Diablo, not Animation!
As for Epicness, I think Diablo has to be epic it's always a game with HORDES of monsters, and that's the way I like it to be in the movie, as well.

really though how can you make a movie about a game that is about one person using spells and changing their armor every ten minutes? It would be too hard to do to keep it like diablo games.
You don't have much of imagination, do you?
One person - More heroes together? More dialogs than the game.
Spell - CGI, of course. ILM!
Every ten minutes - How much just 3 times in the movie? Or 4-5...

1) Demand, we as fans MUST want it. If we don't want it, Nobody is going to make it. But at the same time, we want Quality, then we have to also demand Quality. And, comes in #2
2) Patience - Finding a great director, actor IS going to be difficult. we can't just want it NOW with ANY garbage actors and dictors, CGI studio... we wait patiently while still demand bad for it!
3) More Patience & FEEDBACK - After they announce the movie is going to be made... we don't want to rush them to put the movie out ASAP. We want them to take their time, get the movie done RIGHT! Put inputs like how the movie should and shouldn't become...

If Diablo movie can get a great director, it doesn't matter the script!
