Eh, should be obvious I was using a bit of hyperbole to more or less make the point some cheesey lines should honestly be expected here. SC1's dialogue wasn't precisely Shakespeare.
Also, to what probably amounts to at least half of the target age group those lines won't sound cliche yet.
btw what do you think prince valeric means when he says to raynor, "i can give you what you've always wanted..."? i mean, it could be freedom from the dominion, but what raynor really wanted was a way to save kerrigan.
That's what I'm thinking too! It could be that Valerian found a way to "cure" Kerrigan and transform her into a human! I'm totally seeing this!
It's gotta be related to freeing Kerrigan; what else could it be? It's certainly the only thing I can think of anyone could offer Jim that'd really stop him in his tracks.
PS- For those that don't know (it's not expressly clear outside of the books) Prince Valerian is Mengsk's son. Maybe Jim takes him captive as a bargaining chip? Mengsk values him a lot.

If you want good lines read a book.
Oooh, good point! Maybe Valerian using Jim to try and take Mengsk out because -he- wants to be Emperor!?
3 more days!

Very interesting to see who he is...he appeared like a ghost, so maybe one of Mengsk's spectres?
Where'd you find it for download?
